Resetting the house and car doesn't take as long as I imagined, if I keep up with daily tasks. Previously, just the thought of resetting used to overwhelm me. Squeals of Daddy's home is the best.

Bacon Tip: parchment on jelly roll pan (cookie sheet with sides), lay bacon on..put in oven 350 for 25 minutes...frees up stove top and no babysitting the piggies! Lol!

Hello and thank you for your videos. I always find it exciting when you tell me that you went shopping for groceries and stuff on Sunday. Here in Germany that would be impossible. Apart from gas stations, everything is closed on Sundays. Have a nice Weekend. Greetings

Wow, you've been in your house for 6-7 years. I've been following you all those years; remember watching the renovations and it came together, room by room. I like your kitchen a lot. I'll be doing mine early next year and using some of your ideas; butcher block, back splash. I really like the cabinet knobs but haven't been able to find ones close to them. TY

I’ve noticed in many KZfaq videos people will bring up an issue in their home and they are the usually the only ones who notice. When you have an inviting home that’s what makes people feel comfortable and the little things aren’t so obvious.

It always feels good after cleaning the car. I have to do it quite frequently because I practically live in the car chauffeuring my younger daughter around and we always bring the three dogs. Thankfully, they don’t shed.

Hello Hilary😊 love your content and have learned so much from you over the years. I know you try to purchase your vehicles cash. How do you go about finding the right car/van you are interested in? I have been looking at purchasing a Toyota Sienna for my family. If you don’t mind me asking, what price range do you try to stay in and how old are the vehicles you purchase. So when the machine is done mixing then you take out the paddle? How long does the mixing go on? Been following you for years. Love this channel. I learned, got motivation and just appreciate your ideas.

Thanks so much for being here! So for my machine it takes 3 hours from start to finish. It does the mixing, knocking down, and proofing in a rhythm for about the first hour, then around the 2 hour mark it simply rises and then the last hour it bakes. So around the 2 hour mark I can safely take out the paddle without disturbing the rising and baking steps. If I wait too long then I won't take it out. It's safe to bake inside the loaf but of course it creates a bit of a hole when you take it out and then the center slices have a little indentation. Hope that helps!

Everyone on KZfaq seems to be using this Beyond paint, I think it is, on their cabinets - no prep work or sanding needed.

It's 1 tsp per cup of AP flour, so technically you're supposed to remove 1 tsp of flour for every 1 tsp of the wheat gluten you add. If you use bread flour you don't have to worry about adding any.

Would you be able to share a link for the hardware/pulls you have on your kitchen cabinetry?

Sadly I can't, they're vintage off of a set of cabinets we bought at the Habitat Restore. We used 3 of those cabinets for the island and then took the hardware off the rest! In my pantry video I did share a very similar cup pull that we bought off Amazon that matches very closely, they're just not knobs.

Maybe a stupid question….but could you explain how you remove the paddle from the bread maker with the dough inside?

I just lift the lid and take it out, re-shape the dough a little as needed, and let it keep rising and baking

I have a bread maker I have never used. because I'm not a good instruction reader lol. so I appreciate the visual lesson and I'm thinking of making your recipe, but I'm confused about the paddle. you said take the paddle out before it fully cooks inside the bread? will the bread still be wet halfway through to take the paddle out?

Just prior to the rising (at the 2 hr. mark) she takes out the paddle from the dough ball...this is after all the mixing, and knocking down... she then lets the bread rise...then bake...then it is all done!
