Ex Continental I have to get a camera. I’m having my AMP unit, and the USB port installed Wednesday when I get my 600 mile (1 K) service done. So, I gotta get over the financial shock of that, then I’ll get a camera. I’ll try to take a short video with my phone. Can you tell me what type of camera you used for your video. The quality is really good. I even watched your videos in Portuguese
@ExContinentalAzores5 жыл бұрын
@@superchicken5000 Sorry for the late reply. I use the go pro 6 and a lavalier microphone from Rode. If you intend to buy an action cam, I advise you the GP7, which the electronic stabilization is the best. However, you still have the new Action Osmo, from DJi, but give it a few more months to prove what the brand promises, in terms of quality to overcome the GP7. Any more questions feel free to ask. Hopefully, I will not take this long to answer ehehehe. Cheers

I haven’t gotten an action cam, but I did install a 2 camera DVR system. After a police officer almost ran me down, I wanted to have proof if something like that ever happens again.

Man, awesome review and I love the bike. So much that I'd buy one. But, one of the best improvements you can do also, on any bike, is putting a new DNA air filter. PS: it's not an expensive mod. Thank me later. Take care.
@ExContinentalAzores3 жыл бұрын
Hi there Pedro. So sorry for the late reply. Indeed I have taught on the air filter. However I will not buy it because I'm leaving the motorcycle world :/ Life sometimes throw us other priorities. Thank you so much for watching the video and commenting on that. Cheers mate, from the Azores Islands :)

Looking to convert one to more ADV style? Husaberg (and probably KTM?)also run with 25mm front spindle/axle, plenty aftermarket hubs(Haan,Talon,etc) available, though you will be going down to 1 front disc(weight saving),and being a S/M,plenty higher quality discs in 320mm are available, probably stop quicker, with less gyroscopics? For the rear, Kineo make wheels, I don't know if they will just see a billet hub, but they will fit a 4.25" rim(19/17" f&r). Needs the exhaust junked and an auxiliary fuel cell put in it's place! Got the makings of a good touring/ADV bike,with a little thought, skidplates, screens and racks are available, as are headlamp upgrades, one of the biggest flaws,a poor light! Nice bikes, just flawed!

What about weight? The bike, they say, is heavy and its high; so it makes feel way heavier I think. What do you think?
@zhvn893 жыл бұрын
I have dd 750. I put a decat pipe and aftermarket exhaust. Bike now is really smooth. And it runs much cooler. The only downside that now it is way too loud. And emissions. But in my country it’s not regulated. Thinking about installing back cat to make bike less noisy. But silencer under the seat is a second thing to replace after the tires.
@ExContinentalAzores3 жыл бұрын
Hi there Zhovner. Indeed, replacing the cat makes improves a lote. First because it's just to damn heavy, and second it cuts a lot of the bike in order to achieve those Euro4 emissions obligations. However, at least in this 900, the stock sound it's just amazing, and spending around 1000 € on pipes, I rather to spend it on a vacation or safety gear, as for example, on a good airbag jacket and still have 400 € to spend it. In life, it's all about choices, eheheh. Cheers mate from the Azores Islands, and thank you so much for your comment :)

@@ExContinentalAzores really enjoyed you reviews. Saw a new one about v85tt. Thinking about it after dd maybe in 5 - 10 years. Interesting to hear an opinion about Moto Guzzi from the perspective of DD owner. And I saw your review of Griso. Interesting too. I considered Griso before v85tt came out. And related exhaust. Completely agree with you. It's a lot of money. I won't spend any money on exhaust anymore. But was a phase of live. When your are young. Now in my early 30th, can't afford anymore. Better to spend it for vacation. thanks for your videos!

Nice review, any chance to have a lower seat? Or to play with suspensions to lower a bit? Best compliments for the channel🤗
@ExContinentalAzores3 жыл бұрын
I don't think that is possible. Also I generally don't like to mess up with the suspensions because it will affect the bike performance, by lowering them down. Cheers mate, and thank you so much for commenting. :)
@maurotatdani21113 жыл бұрын
You can lower the bike but only two centimeter. You have to build a new ring in the base of mono rear shock and out up the top of the front fork. Remember to adjust the side stand too

@@ExContinentalAzores i got a question soon i willl go for my A2 motorcycle license and then i want to buy this motor but restricted to 35 KW. Would you recommend it for a beginner bike?
@ExContinentalAzores4 жыл бұрын
@@gromzy6016 Well if you are really a beginner, I do not recommend this bike, because the engine has some power and torq. From my experiencie a Honda, like the c500f would be great, beacause generally honda engines are powerful but smooth. I have own one and it was fantastic. Nevertheless, it depends from person to person and what I do recommend is for you to make some test drives. Especially on a Dorsoduro, because it's a very different bike from the rest of the world. I mean, positioning driving, engine response, cornering, etc. Test as many bikes you can. You will learn a lot about their differences, and maybe you'll be surprised by the many options that are out there. Cheers.

Dunlop Sportmax Qualifier don't do justice to this bike. Michelin aside, Pirelli Angel GT 2 (all rounder) Rosso 3 (canyon carving) or MT60 RS (slight offroad, these are what I have) are all good options. Agree 100% with your likes and dislikes.

Boas. Parabens pelo video, não podia ser melhor. Mas deixa me fazer te uma questão quanto aos consumos da bruta, qual é a media? Pelas minhas contas são mais de 10litros aos 100kms?!!! abraço e continua o bom trabalho.
@ExContinentalAzores4 жыл бұрын
Ora viva Jorge.
@jorgelopes62584 жыл бұрын
@@ExContinentalAzores Obrigado pela resposta breve! Mas diz me; o depósito leva 12litros total incluindo a reserva é isso? Desses 12 quantos litros é a reserva? Obrigado e desculpe o incomodo.
@ExContinentalAzores4 жыл бұрын
