If you get the chance, ride the Dorsoduro 1200!! I´ve got this thing since 4 weeks and it is fabulous; I think you´ll smile all the time! (By the way, if you drive around in the area of Bochum or Wuppertal I can show you mine!) Thanks for your interesting and well made reviews.

Personally I'm tottaly in love with that bike. If all goes well, it's going to be my next one. It has everything I want. I'm thinking of getting the gel confort seat, tough. Seems that the original it's quite hard after a few 15 minutes riding. Good video, and thanks for sharing. Cheers from Azores islands, Portugal

Maxi is referring to big . Such as maxi scooter a maximoto/motard is essentially a big supermoto. And is referring to the category of two cylinder maxi motards such as megamoto hp2, ktm 990 SM, hypermotard etc etc.

Hi Scott, I know it has been awhile since you made this video but I rest like it, great job as always Now I am considering these Aprilias, either the Shiver or the Dorsoduro Which one do you prefer? I just sold my GSA and my FJR is the long distance one so I want a bike for 'in town' and I tested the Shiver which I like a lot but not the DD What are thoughts about these 2? Take care Marcelo

Hi Marcelo, the Dorsoduro is more playful, like a teenager and the Shiver more the traditional middleweight naked bike. I prefer the Shiver simple because it looks better the has one tooth smaller sprocket on the back to so it's more street-able. The DD is like an over grown super-moto it really weights too much to be one. Take care, Scott

@@NothingToProve Thank you for letting me know The Shiver is on the top of the list, and MT09, what do you think? Although Yamahas are bulletproof the Aprilia quality shows everywhere on the Shiver.... Which one...?

@@suppersready4you I always tell guys to let their heart tell them what to do. Picking a motorcycle is like picking a girl friend. So where you heart goes...that is the bike for you. I like both bikes, the 09 is 30+ kg lighter but the looks of the Shiver just moves me, in a sexy way :)
