You guys are the best vids on the web, Jamie is a f;&$in gem! You all promote responsible riding, having a good time, and aren't so obsessed with specs as a lot of riders can be. Keep up the great work chaps!

I'm a Buell guy so it's difficult to impress me lol. Nothing beats the real world ergos and torque of a Buell. I look at guys on Ducatis around town and just go "Man that must suck". Not to mention I paid a fraction of the price, and my parts are STILL cheaper even after the company went under.

I didn't see what comment you're replying to, but in some cars there are variable hydraulic engine mounts that behave in the way you describe. In the case of this Aprilia, and other homologation superbikes, the adjustable engine mounts are non-variable, but rather they are a set of spacers and multiple mounting options that allow the engine to be solid-mounted in slightly different locations to fine tune the handling by moving the engine weight. Adjustable swingarm pivot is similar.

I have the 04-05 RSV-R 1000, and I love it. I've got a decent GoPro recorded vid on my uploads knee dragging w/a zx10r (knee dragging makes it entertaining, its nothing special to me. Lets just say its not my 1st time)) vid up Blood Mountain, GA. Now I love my RSV-R. It's bone stock and that zx10r WAYYY overpowers it....yet it makes up for it in rider feel. You instantly feel confident on it. That said I decided very early on...I WANT ONE. The sound of the RSV4 gave a good ide of throttle resp

Usually race bikes have solid mounts= all vibrations are felt through the chassis. Soft engine mounts are more comfortable but the engine moves around sucking away hp. So adjustable engine most are soft when cruising and hard when going balls out.

Your second problem sounds more like an electrical issue, than an engine problem. Possibly your quickshifter.
@TheSportbikeHooligan11 жыл бұрын
Part of the problem is incorrect stock gearing. The bike is over geared out of the box and needs to be dropped a tooth in the front and raised one or two in the rear for street use. It was geared over 200MPH (which the bike will not do) to pass emissions/sound regulations.

With all due respect the Tahoe is build on the same truck chassis as the Silverado pickup and uses the same engines. Some SUVs are built on car frames yes, but traditional ones, such as the Tahoe, ARE trucks. From an engineering and mechanical standpoint they are NO different. Traditionally speaking SUVs were built on truck frames, with truck engines.
