In this video we diagnose and repair this Sportcity One 50cc which has seized due to water entering the oil tank. We show you how to access and replace the piston, replace the 2 stroke oil and prime the oil pump.

What was the torque for the head nuts?? I noticed with YTs always leave that section out why! hopefully use the correct torque! Really should spray a lot of WD40 into the crank get rid of the water if there is any won't do any arm it will repel the water. Also you should assemble it with liquid Molly oil additive and put some in the oil tank 20% for at least one tank will give greater protection from where better breaking I don't like the look of the oil pump you need to adjust it for more oil so its best to have more oil give you better performance keep the engine more healthy, the only reason they cut it low is to do with admissions in the factory, you want it just off from smoking or even a slight little bit when cold

If we showed every thing we did it would be a 5 hour video. We have covered this many times, always refer to your workshop manual for factory specs. 10/11nm. You should remove all water from engine and parts. Use ethanol and air to blow dry. You have soom good knowledge, thanks for comment👌

Hi do you know the dimensions of the original belt and roller weights on a aprilia sr50r 2015? Planning on upgrading but a lot of people are saying different things. I have an idea that the belt is 811x/18,5 is that right? And with the rollers does it matter what dimensions they have? Thanks!

Hello again. i pulled the Variator washer and i feel like the moped has more to give so my question is should i change variator weights? And if so do i have to change anything else in the scooter?

Yes try a lighter weight, 7 grams.

You need to find the parts that fit your model. Search all of the manufacturers and the parts sellers in your area.

The owner must have washing the bike without an oil tank cover. What about the water mix in the bottom of the engine/crankshafts side.

Hello.I have a aprilia sr50r and when i only give it gas the variator makes a sound but in idle it dosent and it makes a noise when i turn it on the right too.What can be the problem?

Check the kick starter shaft, it may be loose and it can be removed or use a hard plastic spacing washer.

What a silly mistake to make. Especially as the water will sit under the oil. So get pumped through first.
