Pete Carroll is an absolute Seahawks legend. I will love him forever. 43 to 8

I’m planting the flag right now. Geno is going to ball out 2024 and Coach Mac will be a Seahawk legend when he retires.

I'm buying him everywhere I can in dynasty. People are valuing him pretty low.

first video i've seen that i totally agree with. geno is a great qb who was held back by poor playcalling and a bad defense. he did struggle more this year, but it's unfair to act like the season was bad because of him. he played great but multiple games they should have won, the defense refused to stop anything like carolina.
@Zion2540hdАй бұрын
Yup I would say he was playing bad in the first half of the season but he really cleaned it up after the ravens game I see a lot of people saying he’s average because of this one season i don’t think thats true.

We lost our starting two tackles week 1 last year. We had a terrible oline and pieced that shit together with duck tape.

@@seahawks852 Yeah but that's not the whole story. The receiving corps seemed out of synch all season. That's not an o-line issue. It felt like the entire team gave up early & the coaching staff didn't notice so they didn't fix it. Geno did what he could but there was something undermining his efforts. The fighting spirit was out of this team.

Mickey D'$ might be what we needed!!..Great points about the 2015-16 Seahawks...and when they moved off of Diggs they made the greatest move they could have in their history!!!

GENO would have been a better QB last year if Seahawks offensive line was healthy

100% agree that first game against the rams was rough with 2 big injuries. That was a bummer

If Geno goes down, I think Sam Howell will be a solid backup quarterback and may even be trainable for a longer term. He had some good moments last year with the Commanders but kept having to run for his life!

@4:32 "...And you bring back Leonard Williams. They traded Leonard Williams to the New York Giants, but he wanted to come back to Seattle." Do what?!? In what world did this happen?!?
@hero_bydefault1807Ай бұрын
Yeah, I caught that too. To the video creator ---- To clarify, Seattle sent a 2nd round pick to the NY Giants for Leonard Williams and then Seattle successfully signed Williams to an extension in the off season.

It wasn't just the tackles that were out on the offensive line every guy on that line had been out at one time. They were never on the field altogether consistently. It's tough to win games if you don't have a solid offensive line. It puts a lot of pressure on the quarterback. I don't think there's one quarterback In the league that could have been successful as geno, behind this type if o-line. Go through all the top playoff teams in the league and you will see one glaring thing they all have good offensive line play.

Geno is a fraud that got exposed in every important game last year. He will be benched by week 5 and Seahawks won’t be better than Rams and Cardinals anyways. It’s a rebuilding year that’s why they should trade Tyler Lockett so they get as much value as possible to build that interior oline. Secondary will be trash, woolen was exposed as well and benched multiple times for undrafted players. Their safeties are mediocre still too which is a no-no vs Rams and 49ers. 6-11 or 7-10
@KgnDestoyerАй бұрын
1. Geno was still slightly above average last year. 2. Lockett trade makes no sense we could maybe get a second at the most probably a 3rd or 4th 3. Woolen was injured and couldn’t hit properly and he was still a top 20 cb last year stats wise. 4. Our safeties are slightly above average but I agree with your take. You obviously wasn’t watching the Seahawks if you actually believe those takes😂
@rawswisher43Ай бұрын
@@KgnDestoyer woolen was not injured when he was benched in November for Michael Jackson you’re a fanboy that can’t accept reality that your favorite player was a one year wonder who was exposed throughly vs the Cowboys, 49ers and rams each game. Geno was average and got exposed multiple times vs the ravens, giants, rams and 49ers under 180 passing yards per game, only 3 Tds to 2 ints that’s putrid numbers. He inflated his stats vs garbage teams like Commanders and panthers once he played .500 teams he was below average besides two games against terrible defenses. I watched every game he was a laughing stock that choked your playoff season away with 3 WR1s and an underrated RB duo.
@chrissears5482Ай бұрын
Woolen had a shoulder injury that plagued him all last year. He got benched because he wasn't tackling well, probably due to his shoulder.. Also Geno led the whole league in game winning drives last year
@chrissears5482Ай бұрын
The defense has been a way bigger problem than Geno. They have been dead last or at least bottom 5 in tons of statistics the last two seasons
