Bottles in the dump? You betcha! Please join me, MeMiner and Stope Drifter as we search the woods for an old bottle dump from a mining ghost town long gone. We find a fantastic dump full of old bottles, some even on top of the ground. It was an epic dig in an epic place until we got chased out of the woods by epic swarms of mosquitoes and blackflies.

What’s that noise? Oh yes. The sound of the helpless laughter from the ghosts of the old silver miners watching folk dig up their rubbish from 140 years ago with such delight... they are rolling about, pipes clenched in teeth, wheezing with laughter. If you listen carefully it sounds a little like mosquito noise...

The property my parents first purchased when we moved back to Nova Scotia had dozens of deer skulls hanging in the trees. Or the skulls where sitting in holes of the trees. I'll never forget walking back with my dad and feeling the oddest feeling as all these skulls where just staring at us.

There is even a story on the Original Stuer farm in the u.p. that there is a fortune burried on the property by a man hiding it from his wife. Lol.

So many people watching this have never had the horrendous experience of being in the backwoods where mosquitoes are so plentiful you end up breathing them in. Its horrible and I applaud anyone who can stay out in them like you guys did for this video. I honestly do not understand how there is enough "food" for the sheer number of them to survive to reproduce every year like they do.

A tad over-whelmed perhaps, Beau? Great bottle dump! Get to digging and find you'll find treasure, for sure. 😉 Eucalyptus oil mixed with a little alcohol and water, shake each time and spray your clothes will help to keep the bugs away. The sauce bottles are Lea & Perrins. That is an old dump with good age to it for good potential to find some valuable bottles. But the good stuff isn't on the surface but deeper in the ground. You should have taken all the jar lids because people buy them for the old jars they find and some lids are rare and valuable. Bugs become worse once you start digging into the ground. Always carry bug spray with you that contains DEET. As always all your videos are interesting and entertaining. If you're ever in NJ let me know and I'll show you huge unbelievable dumps unlike you've never seen before. Happy hunting and stay well.
