Zack seems to be a really nice young man. He enjoys your "dad jokes". Looks like he is hooked on digging! I watch several folks on youtube who love to dig privies and trash dumps. It's so interesting what they find. Had no idea those old bottles were so valuable. Thanks for taking us along Alex. Next time, wear some gloves!!

Alex, You always create the most interesting content and your delivery is the best part. God has given you a wonderful gift to communicate, through videos, one-on-one in your store and through singing old classics which remind us of where we have been. Your love for history and antiques is inspiring!

Size matters. You have the smallest one I have ever seen in watching years of youtube video's. That magnet got one nail. I've seen people snag bicycles, a motorcycle, safes, knives, guns and a lot more. I would love to go magnet fishing. Most use a magnet the side of your entire hand. Does Zack have a youtube channel? I LOVE to dig. In Somerset, Ohio, when I was about 10, we dug on a hill at a 13 acre farm. I found 4 great big crocks, intact, perfect shape. I found over 200 various soda bottles, booze bottles, ink bottles. As a kid I would dig there for hours a day always eagerly anticipating what I might find. Sadly, after I turned 15 that farm was sold for city life. People would just go set stuff outside or on a hill and shove it over. I found dozens of plates that were still intact. Old patterns. To this day I still use a lot of those old plates on tables with a pot on top. Zack brought back a lot of memories and I'd love to watch him dig more. He was a nice guy.

pottery chards are a nice little extra in dealing in antiques and curio's just put a bowl full of them on the counter from 10 cents top a dollar and yeah they go people like to make art installations and mosaics from them and a lot rather pay some dimes than go and search for them. most of us do this for fun on a day off so every item found is a freebie!

It was nice to see you trying something totally different than your usual videos. Even though you seemed to be more the photographer than digger, you need to get you some coated gloves with all that broken glass and rusty metal that was buried. Also, about the magnet fishing, unless the coins in Canada are made differently than the ones in the U.S., it is unlikely that you are going to find them with a magnet no matter how many times you throw it in the river. I bet your boys would love to go digging with you next time. Thanks for another fun video!
