AquaRacer Looks For Only £50! Cadisen C8218M Review.

There is nothing people like more than value for money. For different people that can mean many things.
I would love a Tag Hauer Aquaracer but would not be able to justify owning one. It would be trashed within a week.
I prefer some of the looks of more expensive watches knowing that if it gets scratched or trashed, I can just get another.
This is where watches like these come in. Homages are a great way to get a feel for watches you may never attain.
The Cadisen C8218M is version 2 of a watch I reviewed in January 2023, The Cadisen C8209.
Both are homages to the legendary Tag Hauer Aquaracer.
This Cadisen C8218M is an automatic Sports Watch housing the Seiko NH35 automatic movement.
For only £50 you really get the Tag Hauer Aquaracer look...but certainly not the quality.
But for £50 from AliExpress this Cadisen watch is a little cracker.

Perfect watch for business or conference environment. You could bring this watch and a few different straps and you are set. Dress it up with an alligator strap Or dress it down with a rubber strap for you workouts

That’s an insane amount of watch you get for the price. I personally have never been a fan of the Tag. Thanks as always for the honest review.

I got mine (in white) about 3 weeks ago. It's still on the orange strap even though I have others I could use with it. The bracelet is fine, but once I switched to the orange nato, that's where it stayed! It's been very accurate, looks great and the price was right during the September sale!

Amazing value, I really like the white dial 👍 . If I was to nit pick, I would say the hands could be a little longer, but it wouldn't stop me buying.

Great watch. I have the original in white and really love it. I’ve worn it professionally, in the water, in the rain and everything in between. You can change the strap and pretty much have a watch for all occasions.

I bought this when it was first released, it seemed to sell out fast. It’s a excellent watch for the money, cadisen is making some excellent watches for less than $100

Hi buddy. It's a strange one this. It seems that getting rid of the old bezel has switched everyone away from this watch. I had three emails this morning asking if I had my original C8209 for sale rather than this version. The lack of views shows Cadisen dropped a winner with the original!

@@johnswatchjoint I have the original one and really like it, they disappeared really fast. I’ve gotten 3 cadisen watches in my collection I bought the miyota 9015 dress watch a month or so ago during the sale for less than $100. I’m a fan of this brand, lots of bang for the buck.

Me neither but I have had requests to do another since the initial review. It seems though that with this Cadisen has missed the mark and taken a step backwards 😞

The loss of the hexagonal bezel seems to lose the homage, good to see it still comes with a fluffy cat…

Hi buddy. Yeah the jury has voted with their feet. The last watch was flawed but had the homage...this one has lost something...and no-one seems interested....apart from Molly ! Ah well back to the drawing board lol 😆

Great review as always, John! Decent offering by Cadisen, but the Aquaracer look just never did it for me, even with the original.

Do have a love for tag’s, have two formula 1’s (the OG 1990’s) and a series 1500 with the full lumed dial. On an alcohol fuelled whim ordered a “steelflier” sf745 British army W10!field watch (quartz) last night, all the fault of talisker and brew dog!!!!

Yeah it seems Cadisen have shot themselves in the foot with this one. The twelve sided bezel...I can't spell the other word haha, seems to have been way more popular as it really represents the TAG. This video has absolutely bombed...ah well, it was good having a watch channel once.....
