The workshop wasn't fully recorded, but just parts, so it was impossible to add more speech because it wouldn't make any sense at all some nonsense sentences during the video. I hope you enjoy it and full setup is in video's description.

That's the point of the workshop, for the people that attends don't be afraid of trying. Most of the people that is visiting the store never heard about aquascaping in life, then they stop and keep watching it.

Hallo Filipe, ein schönes Layout für Fische, die offene Flächen mögen, damit sie ausreichend Schwimmraum haben. Du hast das Becken auch ruckzuck eingerichtet, da bei dir als Profi jeder Handgriff sitzt und du das Scape schon im Kopf hattest. 👍👍

You know, we always have an idea of what we want to do because we bring the plants for the workshop, then we need to adapt to what we find in the store and if it's not possible to make how I thought, I will immediately change to something else that match with the plants I have. This is how it works... Of course, It's really important to see other tanks, if they have, and do something different so the customers have something else to look at. ;-)

if not mistaken ive seen you using the juncus repens as a background plant instad of carpeting plant is that correct? whats the best positing for it master

Juncus repens is not a foreground plant because it doesn't spread horizontally. The best place for it is in mid-ground or background, if possible mixed with other plants. You can use if stand-alone, it does nice bushes too.

I have been reef keeping for a lot of years and want to try my hand in a panted tank. What is the black substrate called?

It's black substrate, that's it. Some called technical substrate (I don't know why...) but it's rich in nutrients and black clay based substrate. You can find so many different brands selling it.

I always like these kind of scapes. But they are definitely not cory proof. If you have some cory's your scape will have aquasoil all over the sand in a day. Some people might want to know this.

I didn't have a microphone with me because this was special made for the audience and not for KZfaq. I just adapted some parts and it's normal the sound coming from the camera sounds a bit rough... But it's what it is... This is why we have only a few parts with voice.
