I did this with Fireflies - Owl City when it was first out and I was working from 6am. If I hear this song now, it gives me flashbacks to waking up at 5am and it makes me panic thinking I've slept in. I do not recommend using your fave song as an alarm lol, I have lasting effects from it.

why does nobody EVER mention what a monster Mike Einziger is? the dude could pick up any instrument, and totally own your face off with it. the guys oozing talent. Keith Richards wasn't the most crisp player, but his originality is what made him famous. people may get pissy, but I place Einziger in the same category as Keith Richards.
@therxckstar8 жыл бұрын
No one should be pissy because he really is amazing, some may be able to pick up an instrument and play it but very few can pick one up and play it like they've been playing for 80 years cx
@ohioagainsttheworld6768 жыл бұрын
no joke, dude. and the crazy thing is, he sounds just as good live. he's one of those rare breeds. I put John Frusciante in that category too. he's a complete monster.

Or drift into the unknown Further down the river I’m building an antenna Transmissions will be sent When I am through Maybe we can meet again Further down the river And share what we both discovered Then revel in the view Further down the river I’m floating down a river

Im so grateful for this song and, the skills they came up with to compose it! 10 out 10 I give it 10+! BTW- my opinion... I think they should do more songs like these (that involve the pipa)! Im sure they could pull it off and be creative with it in so many ways! Js.

The best of Incubus is when they incorporate orchestra themes within their music, even if it isn't the main focus. I loved everything from Morning View, particularly because they include these string and wind instruments and that add the extra emotion to the music. This song is a prime example of what I wish Incubus was today. I really liked 8, but it's really lacking the old-school Incubus that I think we all fell in love with. I really wish they could do a live version with an actual orchestra, that would bring a tear to my eye.

I feel his soul in this song. It reminds me of the feeling of being seen for who I truly am(not who others want me to be), and understood at a soul level. I’m staying strong through the days I feel alone, believing that there is another soul out there that feels this way too. Through our souls journey we will find our way back to one another. Maybe we can meet again further down the river, and share what we both discovered, then revel in the view….

@reallyhappytrees9 жыл бұрын
jordanpk159 fungus amongus is rock solid and probably the best sounding album besides If Not Now, When? (OMG dynamics on an incubus album? O.O) The energy on Fungus Amongus is very high, that would be the stepping stones to enter the next phase that is S.C.I.E.N.C.E. If you can't get into fungus amongus, try listening to enjoy incubus and then go back and play those songs like You Will Be a Hot Dancer, Take Me To Your Leader, Hilikus, The Answer. I love that album.
