Dear Shri Ouseppachan, not as a mucision, but as a film music composer. I would say as a composer and a music arranger, you are light years ahead of him. I doubt if Rahman can any day do kathodu kathoram or sargaveedhikale or samsyamithapoorva sayahnam. Music is one thing, commercial success is another.

From my knowledge, what ousepachan said is correct. The malayalam album recording was done in AR rahman's studio even before Roja with ARR do keyboard programming. The music company have asked to rahman to record the Tamil version for all songs and released it in the name of ARR just to use his popularity at that time. His case was against music company, not ARR. Arr become a part of the case because recording was done at his studio. But Rahman didn't kow the album was about to release in his name. That what ousepachan said. he didn't say ARR copied his music. he said his work was changed to tamil lyrics and they didn't put his name as music director, instead they use ARR name for cheap marketing. Actually ARR and ousepachan are very good friends and they worked together for many songs. Ousepachan is also a reputed music director who have lot of evergreen hits in malayalam and even won national award for best music director on 2007. To the information of ARR fans, ARRs guru, sivaji, sakkarakkatti and ATM were in contention for national award at the same year 2007.

Mistake happened because of the Publishing Label. A.R.Rahman apologized and corrected the mistake. Music Labels behave like big bosses keeping money as priority. No human values. 🙏

This is the attitude make these musicians limited edition for regional level only. Nobody knows them if they cross one more step from the south. ARR never commented on any other MDs even they copied his music several times. ARR played keyboard for them doesn't mean he was a student of them. Before ARR : there was no minimum craft in the Indian Music. And he did lot of stuff for the first time in India. I do listening to international artists mostly than Indian music because they try some thing innovative every time. Only ARR make something like that. That's the reason why he is popular not only south but also in North and in global level too. And he is doing Hollywood films one after another continuously. When it comes to Indian music he is the only one who can do Hans Zimmer /John Williams/ Vangelis - level music. He is Genius.

And if im not mistaken Andhimaalai too happened behind A.R.Rahman's knowledge. Look at how this man describes A.R.Rahman, so shameful! Is this how one kalagnar describes another kalagnar? Rahman was not even aware of this. Ouseppachan is talking as if, Rahman had done something. Well I see some angry comments here, by people who call Ouseppachan a silly copy cat. Well. Don't call him a mere copycat. I agree that Ouseppachan has blatantly copied AR Rahman's music many times. Darling Darling Nee Enikkoru (from 'Shabba Shabba' Daud), Muthum pavizhavum (from Thiruda Thiruda), Oru Vakku Mindathe (from 'Ai Hairathe', Guru) etc. Ouseppachan has also copied occasionally from foreign composers. Ousppachan may be a legendary composer but not a legend like ARR in terms of his work and personal character. I had personally seen him ditched by others but ARR did not made any comment on anybody on any of his Interview. He just tries to prove that he is Senior and knows better Music that ARR. its like the same Ilayaraja`s attitude. When ARR came in to Industry with Roja 75% of the Industry wanted him to fail but he never failed till date. in 1996 after the release of Rangeela, everybody thought that ARR will win the award but it was given to the film Karan Arjun where most of the songs were copied. It all meant that everybody in the film Industry unable to digest his massive growth. This man has no eligibility to talk about ARR and this shows his cheap mentality. this is just for marketing of his own brand might be his songs are not going well.

Just heard both the versions. Though this music was lifted from Malayalam film. Rehman's composition was much better for listening. The original version did not have a proper life. This man can go to hell!!!
