Arabic is a very rich language, and the 22 Arab countries extending over an area of more than 13 million Km2 are very diverse linguistically and have various dialects that can be quite different and interesting. Our board members had a blast sharing their own dialects in this video. Thanks to Alaa Fayyad - Photography for the efforts working on this video.

La langue arabe est une langue très riche, et les 22 pays arabes qui s'étendent sur une superficie de plus de 13 millions de Km2 sont très diversifiés linguistiquement et ils ont des dialectes variés qui peuvent être assez différents et intéressants. I noticed that many of the words spoken by the gentleman speaking Iraqi Arabic were in Turkish. We use so many common words without realizing it. Loves from Turkey.

I'm half Moroccan and I have never thought I'd find a hard Arabic dialect like Darija. I died laughing with Moroccan Darija and Iraqi dialect, they're so unique 😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤

These are the dialects, with different accents and vocabulary. But Arab countries use exactly the same standard Arabic language at school.

Enseñé francés a varios latinoamericanos. Cada vez que les traducía los nombre de las frutas y verduras me decían que no era asi, que se decía de otra manera en su país.... Terminé mostrándoles imágenes :-)

@@adamhossny-8697Spanish uses only a handful of words which are derived from Arabic. Otherwise, it has nothing to do with Arabic. It’s a Romance (Neo-Latin) language which has high mutual intelligibility with Italian, a language with no Arabic influence. It’s not possible for an Arabic speaker and a Spanish speaker to understand each other except for an isolated word here and there. BTW, some of the words that were mentioned in this video were actually borrowings from French (another Romance language).

The Syrian and Egyptian dramas are the most watched dramas among Arabs but the dialect of Damasuc is closer to the formal Arabic than the Egyptian dialect the lebanase songs are well known but their linguistic content is very limited and a big part of them are in the Egyptian dialect

Where about in Yemen, you have completely different dialects to their region, Yafa, Aden, Hathramout, Dhamar, Sana, Jolf etc...

The morrocan girl used a very watered down version 😅, for example "a chair" can be also called " chlia" and "bed" is called generally " namoussia" not "frach".

Actually, many of the Iraqi words are also used in Persian (Farsi). I don’t know who borrowed from whom.

لهذا ينبغي علينا تدريس الفصحى في المدارس، فحتى إن لم يفهم بعضنا بعضا توحدنا اللغة من يدعو لتعليم العامية للاجانب، ما هي العامية التي يدرسونها؟ ثم اي كتاب سيقرأون؟ العامية ينبغي ان تتقارب، ينبغي توحيد بعض المصطلحات وادراجها في القواميس، وخاصة المصطلحات التقنية غير المترجمة.

The iraqi one is not saying all accents ...we say also : شوكه وليس كلنا بنقول چطل ....ونقول سرير وليس جميعنا يقول چرپايه ....وفي ناس ايقولوا قطه وليس بزونه .طبعا كلها مع احترامي للهجات

This video is wrong because Lebanon (its population is 5 million) has more than 20 different dialects. So the Lebanese dialect used in this video is spoken by only few hundreds thousands people The dialect of Damascus is the second well-understood dialect among Arabs and it comes after the dialect of Cairo that comes in the first place and most Arabs understand it well.

As saudi from Jeddah, closest was by far Egyptian, followed by Palestinian and Lebanese. Most different was Iraqi, followed by Moroccan and Tunisian.

In Jordan 🇯🇴 we say isha (is7a) اصحى for wake up .. and jrabat جرابات for socks And ma’laga (ma3laga) معلقة some use ma’la’a معلئة .. feeg or fee’ فيگ/ فيء jorban جوربان 🧦 from the Palestinian

These are words for objects, so it can be more different. But when it comes to basics and pronunciation, Iraqi is more similar to standard Arabic than Moroccan.

Why is it always a Baghdadi speaker 🤦🏾‍♂️... we dont all speak likes this. The south speaks more clear then Baghdad. Most of the words adopted are turkish

@@ingridreim3205 you clearly them don't know about tunisian language, we have a mix of Amazigh ( native ), Arabic , French and Turkish. and for the record we have two official languages in tunisia, arabic and french. We have our own language we don't need to be categorized as arab speaking country

Morocco is an Arab country. Just like it’s Tamazight. There’s no point in mentioning it’s Tamazight in a video about Arabic dialects, it’s not relevant.
