Hello Dr. Alawiye -- MSA self-study student here with about 5 years of learning experience. Just finishing the Alqaeda Alnoorania book and finally reading the Quran in Arabic. At long last, it's time for me to make the jump into conversational Arabic and I'm using your KZfaq channel to expand my vocabulary. All of your videos are so very precise and helpful, just thought I'd take a moment to thank you sharing them with all of us -- Mark, in the USA

I'm Hungarian, I started to learn Arabic partly because of Dr. Alawiye. He is a fantastic teacher! I already learned some Turkish, but that language written in Latin and has some similarities with my native language, Hungarian. Arabic is a different story, I'm struggling with the writing. It will be a long way to learn it.

As-salaam Alaikum Dr Alawiye, I wanted to express my gratitude for your ongoing efforts in teaching arabic lessons via video. I absolutely love your lessons. I have ordered all of the workbooks. I have been watching your videos since 2017. This year I made a promise to myself and dedication to learn, write and speak arabic consistently. I took a leap of faith and started speaking my arabic openly. May Allah keep blessing you. Ma'as-salaamah.

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ I believe learning through this approach is most effective, the more vocabulary you memorise, and the more you put it into practice day to day will allow you to familiarise yourself with the (any) language fluently eventually.

The Arabic nouns for a female teacher are: مُعَلِّمَة (mu‘allimah), مُدَرِّسَة (mudarrisah) or أُسْتَاذَة (ustaadhah). If you are trying to get your female teacher's attention, you may say: Yaa mu‘allimatee يَا مُعَلِّمَتِي or Yaa ustaadhatee يَا أُسْتَاذَتِي. I hope that helps.
