its all fun and games until you realise that they said "the blue oni looked human but was reclusive' who do we know in genshin that is reclusive, looks human, and has blue hair in a similar style..? Xingqiu. and we already know xingqiu likes to 'cause mischief' just like the blue oni did so the red oni could be accepted. because he's constantly messing with chongyun. this is just a theory. dont kill me.

Lookwise , they look like darling in the franxx lol. Red oni have white-pink hair and blue oni have dark hair. They have double horns and human skin color when grown up too lol

According to Wiki, beans were used in a ritual called Mameki, or bean scattering. Roasted soybeans (fukumame/fortune beans) were seen as a purifier that was used to scatter around an area to chase away evil spirits that brought misfortune and bad health. It's fun to see how such culture is brought in to the game

Well it's a Japanese folk tale and if you notice, there are many references of this folk take in many animes, for example, re zero, rem and ram, later subaru also tells them the tale of the oni.
