In this video we show you how to install a winch compatible Toyota Tacoma ARB Bull Bar Bumper onto a 3rd Gen 4runner. This bumper is typically meant for a 1st Gen Tacoma (1995.5 - 2004) however, we show you what is necessary to install this bumper on a 3rd gen 4runner (1996-2002).
We show you how to remove your stock bumper and prepare your rig to accept the ARB Bumper. The install requires you to cut off the plates on the ends of your frame rails and drill a couple holes so you can mount the ARB frame brackets that the bumper bolts to.
If you plan to install a winch with this bumper, it is important you consider performing an end cap modification that strengthens the frame rail ends and also allows you to secure the bumper from the front potentially.
