Thanks for the detailed product review. May I ask, with the top soft compartment completely folded down, what is the height of the bag please? I am eyeing this one for my next travel, and hoping it is lower than 22 inches to be a carry on. Thanks!

Thanks for the detailed review, I'm considering 30L version of this bag, I'm wondering do you have any issues with the back stay after months of use?
@kevinansel80342 жыл бұрын
Thanks for checking out the video. I have had no issues back stay. It continues to be a comfortable pack.

thanks for making one of the first few reviews of this pack! Very helpful. What is your opinion using this to carry heavier loads? I hear that it can get a little uncomfortable. Also, is 45 a big enough size for multi-day trips? Or as a general backpacking pack?
@kevinansel80343 жыл бұрын
Jo, I loaded the pack up with 30 pounds for gear. I did not find it uncomfortable. I am very happy how it feels. This pack is great for multi-day trips. I'm not a minimalism but I do travel light. I am able to carry everything I would need to hit the trail for an extended day trip. This is my go-to pack.

Thanks man for this. How would you rank this for pure comfort? If you have any other packs you can compare it to that woudl be great as well. Drawn by the vest harness. But those shock cords look pretty flimsey. Im hoping that the vest style makes it extremely comfortable vs other packs
@kevinansel80342 жыл бұрын
Jake, I also have an Osprey Expedition pack. I think the Arc'teryx is just as comfort. I have had no issues with shock cords. They are bungee type so they may be an issue in the future. But for now, all is good. Thanks for checking out the video.

Thank you for the review. I just ordered one for women. Do you know if the fabric is splash resistant/weatherproof?
@kevinansel80342 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching the review. The backpack is made of 100-denier CORDURA nylon which is durable and water resistant but not waterproof. I use lightweight waterproof ditty bags to store all items for additional water protection. Safe travels.

Do you find that the lack of a proper compression system problematic? It doesn't look like there is an effective way to keep the load as close to the body as possible.
@kevinansel80343 жыл бұрын
The adjustments on the harness pull the pack close to the body as needed for a comfortable fit. I've had it loaded with about 30 pounds and had no issues. Combining the adjustments on the harness and the hip belt have been good for a comfortable fit.

Well, a lot of features are nice and all, but it does add weight. I would much rather hear about exeperience from using it a lot when I click on a video like this. If you are having problems seeing things, then maybe take off those sunglasses?
