I don't love the spring on/off buttons, there's something about a hard click that makes me feel like my arcade is going to last longer

@19kFox Thanks for the review! I just received my Dig Dug legacy cab and I can say the same about that monitor and marquee. Outside of that this cabinet is fantastic and plays well with a great game selection.. I hope your next video with the monitor swap is thorough with the instructions. I've never modded anything to that level of a screen swap before, so more detailed steps would be appreciate if so. Thanks in advance, love your channel!

Well, I just got Dig Dug in recently, and it does have the TN monitor, but I have to say, for whatever reason, the 16:9, vertically oriented TNs at least look a little better than the 5:4 landscape TN in the Centipede Legacy cab. So, I wnt ahead and ordered the Pacmania cab when it went on sale for 300 at Bestbuy. I did come back and finished watching this video. Not sure that Dell monitor will work with this particular cabinet. You may have to consider purchasing a 16:9 BOE from A1up to replace the existing TN with, unless you can find the 16:9 Dell variant. Again, thanks.

Yet another cabinet where smoothing is an option but scanlines don't appear to be configurable. So random.

I ended up with this cab because I love the artwork as compared to other Pac-Man variants, but good god is the screen trash. I had an old gen 1 street fighter that I was planning to get rid of and did the monitor transplant, and that mostly fixes it, but again, god damn.

Just got this on sale at best buy for $399. It is vlcurrently still on sale there as of 8/3/23. 2 other cabs on sale, too. Street Fighter Hadouken and MK3 Legacy, I think? Idk, I was in the market for a Pac-Man Cab, lol...

Ive had my 2 arcade1up cabinets for a year and I'm only now learning that the plastic cover that you put over the control panel has a protective piece of plastic and that's why it looked bad

I just got 2nd invoice for countercades. I only have room for one 3/4 arcade (mvc2) or 3 2player countercades $90 each which would you go with?

I thought the pacman characters light up on side of the screen and the cab ? I seen another video where it did

19kfox, Awesome review! Yeah, seeing the dots turn red and the ghosts discolor in Pac-Man on that horrible monitor is a no go for me. I already have that bad quality on the countercades I stupidly kept buying. I would've LOVED to have the extra games Pac-Mania comes with, Rolling Thunder and that sweet Galaga 88', but I'm kinda done with eyesore monitors in my home arcade. Glad I was able to get the Pac-Man Legacy 12 in 1. Great monitors do make a difference :) Savin' me money Fox! vgv

Still thinking over maybe getting the Joust cabinet for Shits... I'd probably just play Joust and Tubing thou still using my Midway Legacy Mortal Kombat cabinet as a Nintendo Switch cabinet with a mini fridge

I bought the new Miss Pac-Man legacy because it fixes all the problems that this one has plus I like Ms. Pac-Man better so it’s a double win.

Assembled mine today and two minutes in it froze up. I powered off and then back on and only the riser lights up. Otherwise the screen stays black (not even lit up) and no sound. Unplugged and replugged in everything and nothing is working. Any thoughts?

I was considering buying this but I maybe better off buying the older Namco Legacy

I'm sorry. I had to stop the video when you showed that horrific TN monitor. What are A1up thinking!? Such a gorgeous looking cabinet, and they just HAD to go and biff the deal with that monitor. Just took that one off my want list. Geez. Thanks for the review.

I stopped buying the Pac-Man machines once I bought the 60 in one for my miss Pac-Man.

How many different ways do they think I need to play Pacman? This is getting ridiculous.

Its s shame this one using the same monitor as the MK30th. Believe or not, I haven't gotten a Pacman cab yet lol. May just got with the Class of 81 or the new Ms Pacman Legacy Edition, which does have a BOE monitor

A major disappointment for three reasons: 1) The TN monitor is horrible because the games look faded and it has poor sound quality; 2) The joystick is not that good nor the buttons; 3) It doesn't have the star quality to make it memorable like Pac-Man or Ms. Pac-Man. Pac-Mania is good as a supporting game but not on its own.

No offense Fox but your background music is as bad as that TN monitor:/

That screen is ABSOLUTE trash....damn thats a shame!
