I've seen countless Arcane reactions, but I still gotta appreciate the combination of one person who knows the game, one person who doesn't, and both people who know the voice of Shohreh Aghdashloo.

All good things come to those who wait. And Kat can feel redeemed for all the money she spent on riot points. Because with that she helped fund this show. I'd call that money well spent. ;)

This show is a masterpiece! It has the best animation, the writing and storytelling is incredible, the “cinematography”, score, characters, antagonist, the voice acting, it’s incredible. I don’t like animated content but this is up there as one of my favorites tv shows of all time and I have so many masterpieces in my ranking so for me to say that an animated series is up there is crazy 10/10.

So cool that Kat has played it extensively and when she said "a lot of riot points" I felt that. I definitely did the same. Congratulations on getting to this animated groundbreaking series! You'll definitely come to love Jinx's voice in this series, I can tell :D

Watching Arcane with no previous LOL experience was interesting, since it left me wondering who would be relevant to the story and in what way. Glad to revisit this wonderful show with you guys (and also glad to see the Danish word of the day stuck around).

I was worried not having played the game would be an issue, and that being based on a MOBA would mean a skimpy story spread over a flimsy advertisement for the game, but @LauraReactions convinced me to give it a shot. It ended up being the best surprise of 2022. I can't wait to see your varying perspectives on it.

I remember recommending this awhile back glad yall finally got to it, this is gonna be a great ride.

I'm sure you may have been told by now, but a second season is coming, it was confirmed in production like, within a week of Arcane's final three episodes being released. Probably looking at a 2024 release, I don't know if any actual date was given yet for it, but even as a small confirmation/teaser it's already teased who is coming and I expect them to be a major factor of the story. His music is... unmistakable.

I'M SOOOOO EXCITED FOR U GUYS TO WATCH THIS

What I love about this show is the animation and art style. It's all key framed and not motion captured and it looks amazing with all the characters being painted and just about all of the backgrounds are painted as well. I also love how you don't need to know anything about LOL to get into this series. They really did it right. I find it funny when other reactors were watching this they were thinking of trying the game and i'm just like, "It's nothing like the game". For me I like that they really set it off in it's own thing and not trying to shoehorn in so much of the game or gameplay. This is what an incredible adaptation looks like. Hearing Shohreh's voice is the best. The storytelling is top notch and after you finish the series, Riot put out a 6 part series on YT called "Bridging the Rift" which is the making of this series. There was a very interesting part where they stopped production because what they had wasn't working and then hired a write that worked on LOST to come in and shape up the story and characters. Thank god for that.

They 'hand drew' all of the textures, background, etc etc. The third part of the five-part documentary 'Bridging the Rift' goes into some detail. This is absolutely hand-crafted animation, no mo-cap. They also painted stuff in RL and then scanned it in to get it to look just right.

I don't even know how I'm going to deal with you guys finally watching this. No matter how quickly you get through the series it'll be WAY TO SLOW - I need to watch them all NOW!!! lol - seriously, watching this somewhat mild reaction to Episode 1 as you try to get your footing a bit, which is perfectly understandable... but you guys just don't even KNOW.

It's awesome you're starting this amazing series! Everything about this series is great including the soundtrack which seems to always be on play for me.

While there are CGI effects added, most of the animation were hand drawn.

This show reminds me of my brother and me. When we were kids around their age in the show My mom died in a car crash and And children services we're about to separate us and put us in Foster Homes but then my papa stepped in and took us My brother was around vi age And I was around powder's age Begin of the show. This show is us so much because we lost our papa a couple years ago? He was like our father. My brother's like VI he always tries to find trouble Just like her and fights. And me i'm like powder i'm not a Fighter Me and powder are just like. Accept the whole killing And stuff lol
