I love all your theory's because it highlights just how good the writing is in Arcane. Any other show and a bunch of your theory's would pan out but this show is more unique than that.

I'm sure there are a hundred other comments about it, but Imagine Dragons and the company heading this show, Riot games, have a really deep connection. They've performed multiple times for the huge yearly competition (which is one of if not the most streamed video game finals ever), and collaborated a bunch. They've nearly missed some shows of theirs because they were playing the game this show is based off of, League of Legends. I'm not the biggest fan of Imagine Dragons and alt rock in general, but you have to admit it's always impressive when a band becomes so popular their sound becomes "generic" because it's spawned a whole new music subgenre.

If you hate imagine dragons, you can mute it and throw on Greenday's version of "I fought the law and the law won". It's the exact same tempo, and it lines up weirdly well. (Adele's Skyfall would probably work even better if you started it a verse before the chorus, but that thing is looong and doesn't get going until way after the one minute mark.)

And even those of us who played League years ago are not quite sure about the fate or past of some of the characters. In the next chapter the chaos begins.

I’m seeing a lot of arguments in the comments about imagine dragons, and i can’t tell over text what’s sarcastic/jokey criticism Vs real criticism. Just thinking the music sounds bad is fine, that’s just subjective. Not liking music *because* it’s popular is kinda annoying, but hearing a song many times can put people off. I’m most interested in the people saying ID is a religious group or the song is religious music? I don’t know much about them, but didn’t realise that. Is it true?

LMAO! theyre so harsh on the Imagine Dragons... btw did you know the reason they did the song for the show and for a bunch of other League world championship events is because the members of the band played the game long before they collaborated? one of the guys loved the game and got the rest of the band into it so they have worked together with Riot a lot since they got famous.

This was the episode that REALLY got me rooting for Vi. She was willing to put herself on the line to save her sister and made the call to turn herself in. Now, it may not have been the right decision, but it was still ballsy, and I respect that.

Finally someone notices that you are supposed to sign every page in a well maintained lab-journal. Usually with date, so that you cannot change it later. In fact, a second scientist should sign your finished notes after checking them, so that no mistakes are made. Victor is being snooty about proper lab procedure. Then again, he is likely a pretty sloppy journaler, more of a seat of his pants, fix it later kind of scientist.

I dont blame u for being lost during that snowstorm scene as even League of Legends players cant agree on who it was that saved them. There is 1 guy referenced most named Ryze but there are clear things pointing to the fact that it cant be him that we trully have no ide who it actually is and Riot havent said who it is either. Just know that there are alot of very advanced magic in this world that is both very usefull and very VERY destructive.

I think having Imagine Dragons do the intro (and later have the band featured) was the only decision I disagree with. Every other aspect of this show is fantastic: writing, animation, voice acting. They get a pass from me!

All the best reaction channels avoid being divisive and intentionally abrasive, in favour of appealing to viewers using charisma and shared fondness for the content. I mean, that's the psychological reason people are drawn to reactions: They want to vicariously live through someone else watching and enjoying something they already love. If you're mocking it, and if you're picking it apart, you're already doing it wrong. One important thing, and I've seen a lot of different reaction channels make this mistake and have to correct away from it, you don't obsess over theories and speculation, especially to the extent that you start talking over dialogue or clearly stop appreciating what's already in front of you. Like I said, loads of reactioners have done the same before, and they always get asked not to, to the point where they address it in a video and then make an effort to ease up on voicing theories.
