i love how in the end Silco didn't die as a villain but as a father. He understood Vander and why he wanted to protect his kids.

I thought that watching Arcane would fill the void, but it just made it bigger.

This scene was absolutely heartbreaking, moreso than Ep 3 imho. Vi not being able to tell jinx to "Stop don't kill them, dont launch the rocket" because she feels guilt and responsible for the creation of jinx. Silco showing jinx to love and not apologize for who she was and is and that she's perfect the way she is, since from episode 3 she's been haunted with the thing she did, and she only held guilt and resentment towards herself, then suddenly she hears the confession from silco that he "Would've never given her to them"...I just can't with this show

With that ending scene, Jayce removing Heimerdinger from the council might have just done him a favor.

This song is so perfect. "Why don't you love who I am?" Vi wants to get Powder back but Jinx wants to be loved despite becoming Jinx. Ironically, Jinx loses the only person who loves Jinx for Jinx because she's so convinced once people see her as a weakness or liability they will abandon her just like Vi (unintentionally) did. Jinx doesn't believe anyone can love her, how can she when she looks around the table and the only thing in common her loved ones have is that she killed them.

The ending scene paralleled from when she tried to save her family. She used the power of three unrefined Gemstones with a tiny mobile bomb and she unintentionally killed her two "brothers" and her adopted father filled with hope that her actions would save them. And here. She lost her father figure again. And filled with anger and hate. She used a single refined Gemstone to intentionally fire the largest bomb shes made in the entire series right at the source of her hatred. It didn't matter whether or not the council's motion went through. It didn't matter one bit. Jinx would've caused the war either way. With Silco gone, her mind finally stabilized by the Shimmer(somewhat) and all the knowledge of explosives and tech at her finger tips. War was inevitable. It all boiled down to who would fire the first shot at this exact moment. Both sides fired. Piltover missed. While Zaun hit. This series may have been an origin story. But the sub plot has and always will be. How Zaun became a nation.

Ella Purnell's voicing Jinx is just too good. especially now, as she speaks. broken. damn. everything in this show was top shelf. Riot spared no expense in this, and this project went above and beyond. congrats to all who made it possible.

What always gets me is 2:29 . Everything is great. Music climax and MOST OF ALL.. this look between mel and Jayce. "we did it Jayce.. We avoided the war. We saved lives. We did the good thing" So much hope in this look, so much innocence.. So much ignorance of what US the viewer knows.. the threat incoming the missile.. Everything shall be shattered like the glass in a few secondes. But yet.. For a few seconds... "We dit it. We acheived peace Mel.. "

Actually really sad over the fact that from the moment Vi left Powder, the situation from that moment just got more and more complicated from Caitlyn's involment, Ekko's intervention, Silco's crime, and Marcus'es preventing Vi reaching Powder when she saw Silco went to comfort her, The Hextech, Vi genuinely just wanted to be reunited with her sister and apologize for her action, but when the time comes, she has to choose between Cait or her Sister..

So glad that it was such a hit , they announced season 2 the day after act 3 went live on netflix ... if thats not answering to its audience , idk what is !

One of the most perfect moment's in recent memory. Jinx finally embracing who she is, and Vi being helpless to stop her because she allowed her to become this. The sisterhood is over, and a new mouth of hell opens up.

Peace was never an option from the beginning There’s just too much hate to call it quits 10/10 writing beautiful animation soundtracks matches just awesome.

After losing her 3rd father figure she went idgf mode, just like varus says, “be aware of a man with nothing to lose” and to top it off that song is criminal, my gf and my sister cried like babies when that song came, overall is a magnificent piece of media..

This scene really made sense that you really can’t change someone with the power of love especially with the all damage and trauma powder suffered through the years

and here i thought this show couldn't get any more heartbreaking than the ending of episode 3 but this whole scene is absolutely gut wrenching. and yet it's also an incredible scene just like the entirety of this show. i freaking love this show!!

she just hates herself, she killed the man that she most hated, the man who destroyed her life and family, but then she realizes she also loves him like a father. And then she concludes, in dismay, powder is gone, she wants her sister's love, but she doesn't allow that to herself, because she is a jinx, undeserving of any love or care. Only a creator of chaos and destruction, a true monster. That's how she sees herself. Vi has forgiven her, only she, has to yet forgive herself.

The fact that every single line in this song fits so well 0:21 “I am the monster you created” while jinx looks at Vi, because although Jinx did mess up and killed her family, Vi chose to hit her and get mad (although reasonable actions) she still created the monster that is Jinx. 0:35 “and worst of all, for me to live, get to kill the part of me that saw” Although Vi created Jinx, Jinx is willingly destroying what was left of her by choosing that path. “When I needed you more” Jinx did need Vi to comfort her and the fact it says “for me to live” because Powder was weak and made constant mistakes. And Jinx although seems crazy all her actions have intent and she can finally fend for herself. 0:48 “I hope you know we had everything” they did have everything, they were finally going to have peace and live their lives without the constraint of the upper city. Yet they would have “had” it all. And they “hope” that Jinx knew, but of course she didnt. 0:54 “and you broke me and left these pieces” it could be talking about a number of things, either Jinx broke the only chance they had. Or that Vi broke Powder and left her in shambles. And the last line of “what could have been” shows that yes they were so close to peace, and Jinx destroyed that. But in all honesty it’s something that should have happened years ago. So it’s quiet ironic, how they were seconds from solving the issue yet.. it was too late. 1:04 “I want you to lose what I lose without play” Powder has lost all her life. Her biological parents were murdered in war, She lost the items they stole, she lost her step brothers, she lost Vander, she lost Vi, she lost her sanity, and so much. And honestly she is the product of the council constantly putting of their problems. They had everything and never lost before, yet ignored the series issues in the under city. And honestly if they didn’t Jinx probably would have never been born. So she is finally making them lose. 1:33 “why don’t you love who I am, what we could have been” this one is kind of wild one but it kind of sounds like the girl loved Silco. She wished he loved her for who she was and she’s angry that he loved Jinx more (daughter way). And then “what could we could have been” the fact it says We seems very insinuating on that. 1:42 “I am your ghost a fallen angel” I believe it’s taking about Jinx. And like I said earlier it was the councils own fault and I think when it says “I am your ghost” it’s like there shadow of their problems. And “a fallen angel” is insulting how powder lived in that high life society she had it all. But became a so on so fallen angel to the under city. 1:55 “I couldn’t care what invention you made me” people are saying that’s vandar but I don’t know much about the actual games LOL. But I feel this line can go for a lot of things, since a big thing of the story are inventions and defying life, and creating others (such as monsters). 2:16 it just repeats but it’s more beautiful and really shows what’s happening in the scenes. Like “what could have been” and then it just kills them all. And there’s probably so much more that I missed. The fact all these meanings can be inferred in different ways really shows how deep and interconnected the entire story is.

This scene reminds me of Mel's mom talk of being the fox and the wolf. Jayce has been a fox this whole time, and now decided to be a wolf as well. Then he showed remorse and decided to show mercy. Now look at what mercy has gotten him.

At 1:57 you can see Warwick's hand in singed laboratory. Look at all the foreshadowing about Vander becoming Warwick I cant believe I missed this!

I know you lore elders will scoff at me but i wish Vi manages to love Jinx as she is now, without hurting her with her own trauma :

jinx was just a child when when she lost her family and as a child she still had some mental instability just subtler She had support system and she lost that support system by her own actions of wanting to feel useful and strong. I think that’s why she chooses to stay with silco. How ekko says “she doesn’t work for him because she has to but because she wants to” Silco makes her feel useful and strong. I also believe the weapon silco created was jinx herself even though he wanted her to create one (she does as fish bones rocket) but the real weapon is jinx and her broken chaotic mind. We still don’t know what Singed fully did to her, but she has signs of her old sanity left, jinx/powder is trying to literally choose who she wants to be and she desperately wants to be powder because that’s the only way she’s ever felt like she had love. Silco’s final line, tells her and us that he really cared for her. It validates to her that she can find someone who loves her and them at there was someone who loved her truly right in front of her , she was just too fixated on being powder again that she didn’t see it and costed her greatly once more. That was the final straw to kill the fixation of being powder again. I don’t think jinx ever went fully mad because of things outside her control. She chose to be jinx that’s what arcane showed. Despite her mental instability and all that I went in thinking they would change her somehow. I’m happy to know she decided to say “fuck it I Am Jinx”

everyone watching this series must feel practically everything, music, every detail, vibrations, not only words but also emotions, because every detail is important in this series, because every detail is thought about and not forgotten by others, but in this series shows small to the greatest detail they can’t even guess from where they get everything, like in the first series on the roof with a pie.

Best animated show of all time. Hell. Best TV show of all time. I rewatched it for over 20 times now. It's just pure perfection in every possible way and I wasn't even a league of legends fan starting this show. But now I am cause this show means more to me than any other show ever did. In 9 episodes it reached better artistic and emotional notes than other shows with hundreds and thousands of episodes. Absolute masterpiece 1:20 and this 2 seconds are just unbelievably good

This scene just gets me every single time that I watch it. The imagery and voice acting is absolutely masterful. I would like to say that this situation kind of reminds me of the Telltale game, Batman: The Enemy Within. I mean, we know how the characters are gonna end up, but I couldn’t help wishing for a happy ending between the two sisters. Again, while the show breaks my heart more and more, I do believe that it is one of the best shows that I have seen in my life. I cannot wait for Season 2 and to see how it all continues!

I honestly feel like Jinx set out the Powder chair as a trap, because of the dialogue here. She wanted Vi to love *her,* not some ghost visage of her she couldn't return to.

Man... I only now realized that Viktor was in the room when the rocket hits them... I thought that only the council will get hurt (subconsciously)... The day he was heard for the first time in a while. Just for all of it to be destroyed...

Abandonment, loneliness and guilt and are feelings that can easily turn into anger, directed or not. That pain may make one stronger at times, but can also be the source of much further hurt. There can be some hope, reflection and acceptance may help, but there stays a hole that can never be filled. You cannot return to what has been. Jinx understood that at this final point, she accepted herself, flawed as she is, but Vi could not. A wonderfully painful scene and series, with characters real enough to despair over.

My heart sinks every time this part place.

They were so close.. so close to stop it all.. the pain and suffering, but it was simply too late. What was bred and grew down in the deep end of the undercity from all that pain and suffering the elites created. It speaks too much to todays society. Jinx, you had a screw loose but nobody around to fix you, a product of agony like no other.
