Hiya Pappaya! I’m quite happy to hear of the lore unification. Hopefully this also means the incredible characterization we see in Arcane will trickle into outside of the show. Personally I hope this applies to yordles most of all. Arcane has a respect for them I feel is somewhat absent in other spaces for the sake of marketibility.

Wow this was very interesting. One clarification, though .Viktor´s blood looks Voidlike after he injects Singed´s Shimmer into his body. Therefore this mean (in my opinion) that shimmer is voidlike. My interpretation on this is that Singed is using the plants that he was picking up in Viktor´s flashback. He feeds some special creatures (Rio) with them and uses their organs to extract Shimmer (as we can see in very fast scene in chapter 3 in Silco´s factory and above the reactor in the factory where Jayce and Vi had argument). My theory he plants that Singed use are contaminated by the void rift that is below Piltover (the one we see in Ezreal short-story). Singed being a kinda of Biochemist decided to test on Rio (as we see in Viktor´s flashback moments before he and Viktor fall apart) to develop a drug (Shimmer) that could have interesting applications as we throughout the series. In mi opinion nothing that does Singed is just for curiosity or for a bigger good, I think he has his own agenda and is more darker than we think.

I always felt it was implied that Shimmer was the source of the void influence. It has the same color language as the void and the corrupted hexcore. The Core was corrupted after its exposure to Shimmer. and the Void is hallmarked by its ability to break down, reconstruct, augment, and adapt. (perfect patron for our little tech warlock Viktor). also we don't know a lot about shimmer other than that it comes from a mutated (purple) animal and has a corrupting influence not only on people that take it, but objects too (we see two scenes where purple vines are growing out of a shimmer infested area) speaking of your previous statement I think you are 100% correct on bloodmagic originating from the void or being influenced by the void because of the theming of the void being all about body horror and adaptation. I think Blood magic is the influence of the void on magic (or the influence of magic on the void since we know through Bel'Veth it goes both ways).

In tft, riot teased set 10 to be something related to runeterra so maybe tft set 10 will also be around the same time riot releases this unified universe 🤔. This is also just me speculating btw.

It wouldn't be a stretch to say that she was a major financial backer of Silco, and then after his death, she takes advantage of the void left behind in the structure to gain even more and far more public influence.

Personally, I think Camille and her family knew about its potential but elected to keep it a secret because of its scarcity and instead chose to capitalize on it by selling its unstable synthetic counterparts outside the city.

Arcane Jayce is objectively a much better written, complex and more likeable character, and I think it's definitely better to make his Arcane personality his canon personality but a small part of me will definitely miss Current Canon Asshole Jayce, whose response to a little girl asking him to fix her toy was "If you liked it so much why did you break it? Fucking idiot."

Before you explained your reasoning for the name Piltover, in my headcanon i thought a good background for it would be a sense of superiority now-Piltovans felt over Zaunites - So Pilt, refering to the river, and 'Over' conveying a feeling of 'towering over' Zaun.

I can definitely get behind the unified timeline you've come up with. A major question I've had about Arcane was how Jayce got the hex crystals in the first place. I'm really hoping we get stories in the other regions. Whatever the case, Arcane is Canon. It's just an alternate universe to the mainstream games.

I'm a bit late to this video but an other possible solution to the Heimerdinger age problem is the fact that in Bandle city time works differently, maybe they don't age at all there. So my headcanon is that after the runewars Heimerdinger went back to Bandle city and spent a few hundred years there before returning to the material realm

And Arcane was not written with Renata in mind, they mentioned it in one of their dev blogs that they wanted to turn Silco into a champion but they couldn't do it without drastically changing who he is, so they made an entirely new champ as far removed from Silco as possible so as not to be mistaken for him.

I always understood that the reason Heimer could have experienced the rune wars was due to the different way that time moves in handle city. That maybe after witnessing the wars he left for the handle city and didn’t return to proper runeterra until much later

I'm of the opinion that they don't need a single, unified canon. That's what people think they want. The harder you try to solidify the canon across multiple mediums, the easier it'll be to break it. And it will break. Instead they shoulld just make the canon consistent with the single medium and adaptation

There would also be no way of artifacts getting out of Helia after the ruination, because the island is a death trap, and the entire event happened so unexpectedly that no one has even tried to rescue some of the magical relics, there was just no reason, nobody knew what was coming. Knowing that the people of the Blessed Isles gathered these magical items in order to seal them away from humans, its more likely that with the abscence of the Helian order, there was no one to collect and lock the World Runes away from people. This is why Ryze decided to take up this role

I've always had this baseless headcanon fan theory that ekko ends up screwing up time and shattering it causing everything on runeterra to change into what it is in terms of the actual games Lore. Perhaps Zoe would briefly make an appearance to bear witness to the major reality-altering event.

I understand it's a much bigger undertaking given the dramatically larger scope, but I feel the LoR side of this is actually a far more interesting question. Especially since it took some bigger world shaking swings in the recent sets with the Xolaani and Aatrox conflict. Like actually on the scale of Sentinels of Light. I wonder if Riot will say "don't do that anymore" or actually try to work harder to integrate such events and have the stories MOVE. I think at this point every league fan is so starved for character stories and progression that even developments like the death of Kayle's mother are met with open arms because, fuck at least it's SOMETHING. It would be really awesome though if the story told over the course of those expansions got some companion stories. Like one with Jun and Yi and their conflict with Kayn which upon the resolution cleverly managed to avoid the Kayn paradox by having the 'cannon' be neither Rhast nor Kayn winning as Jun lets Xolaani out, and one of the final battle between Kayle, Ryze, Aatrox and Xolaani I think the biggest crime Riot lore commits generally is that they are completely allergic to concrete cannon just for the sake of maintaining maximum creative freedom for NEW champ design and story-telling. So you'll get Deus Ex Akshan/Gwen appearing in old really expanded upon plots to solve everything for the existing characters. While Yorick doesn't even get a cameo in his own story in favor of the more marketable Yasuo/Ahri/Braum randomly showing up.

Im going to just say this, I dont want arcane THE SHOW to be cannon. The concepts and ideas (exept echo not having parents we don't need anouther zac ) can probably work, but if they go out and say everything in arcane is cannon, it will break every piltoven and zaun champions lore.

I will say that your speculation is way better than most other Rune-terra and adjacent content creators since you actually give the writers credit and don’t try to fanfiction the “correct” story arc. (Fkn skyen) The only potential issues is with specific characters losing a lot of the potential color stories. One example that a lot of people like being how ekko seems to be missing his parents by the start of Arcane, which completely removes the story of him inventing the time travel and using it to spend more time with his parents. I like the idea of converging everything to one cannon, but it’ll be really sad to lose a good portion of some of these character specific moments.
