Great vid! Didn't want to sit through the three hours of the "movie" they released with the 1.5+2.5 remix. Kingdom hearts 1 and 2 have been a staple of my gaming experience since i was a kid but i never paid enough attention to see the deep story i was missing!

I know this is way old, but you can't possible get a meaningful connection in 8 mins. It's so worth 3 hours for me at least. Heck, I will play through the game on ds because it moved me so.

"Who will I have ice cream with?" For real, Roxas? That's all you could think to say to such a dear friend that's dying right before your eyes? Lmao funniest line in the KH series. But, if you watch 358/2 Days from start to finish, and understand everything, 97.35% of you will cry, whether you admit it or not. It's a proven fact that I just made. Anyway, great video, man! Although, I'm a bit late in saying this: Thanks for the video!

@@RIELTURO Jessie dies!? I happen to have just started playing FF7R again the other day, but I haven't played it much because I've been hooked on Borderlands 3. Still, I'd like to know if she does so I can be mentally prepared. Lol

@@vanlynn6559 you haven't played the original ? If not here goes the spoiler warning . . . . . . . Yeah she suppose to die at the plate drop of sector 7 but since the ending implies ff7R is now part of a multiveses expansion. When you see Biggs surviving at the end of the game you can see her glove on the table next to him. ( Which doesn't make any sense since the plate felt and they were still on it ). But again this isn't the original game anymore but a new game with happy endings for everyone removing all the themes about loss of the original game. ( The juvenile Disney endings ).

@@RIELTURO I mean, I've wanted to play the original (I've bought it on multiple platforms. Lol) but I always get tired of the bad graphics and stuff, plus I have an incredibly short attention span and can't play old school games like that for very long (same with ff9 and many others-even ff10/10-2). But as for this remake, I bought it on PS4 the day it came out, then, like now, got hooked on Borderlands 3. Lol. Then my PS4 broke not long after, and I've only recently bought another. I do intend to play it, but if Jessie dies… I don't know if I want to anymore. Lol, just kidding, I will eventually. I watched a long video ages ago that explained the story of ff7, but it didn't give details like Jessie dying, so thanks for the info.

@@vanlynn6559 If you play the original you'll understand why most original player hate the story pacing of the remake. They did exactly the same for the hobbit movies

no wonder i had no clue what was going on as a kid. i remember playing this game multiple times and it still not making sense at all. now i know that it is the most convoluted prequel to a game i never even played

Revisiting the games, I only played 1, little bit of chain of memories & 2 back when they first came out, beat one, never got to finish 2 but I knew how it ended, and chain of memories I barely played. Just watched your last video on that, I never knew there was a reverse version and you could play as Riku, I love the story for it although I cannot stand the gameplay, it gets very tricky for me, I really didn’t like the card base system. But it was experimental for sure, just finished the story for 358/2 And wow that was great! I really love Kingdom hearts, I relate very much to these characters and personalities. I love the FF and Disney mix, so different and unlike any game out there. I’m so excited for KH3 man!!!

I just finished watching the game through the 1.5 remix and i can confirm that i am not fine :') It's beautiful but depressing and I'm now scared on playing the other KH games, still gonna play them tho

So if Xion was the victor in the fight between her and roxas she would've prevented sora from awakening permanently. Xemnas is reminiscent to Hitler's 'survival of the fittest ' because I see how he doesn't interfere with the organizations internal conflicts(roxas vs saix) (Axel vs xion and etc...)

No Xion was created (by Vexen) from the memories that Sora had of Kairi. But Roxas is Sora's nobody.

Namine is Kairis Nobody, Xion looks like Kairi to Roxas because she has Soras memories of Kairi

Okay but how did DIZ GET AHOLD OF ROXAS, after Ansem captured ROXAS when he defeated him? How did ROXAS and Diz get connected in order for Diz to get ROXAS into that simulator? 🙏 Needing an expert

Riku fought Roxas at the end of 358 and Riku let darkness take him over which gave him the appearance of Ansem SoD which he then defeated Roxas and took him to DiZ to be then put into the simulator.

If you play half of the game, or even less, I'll see that Roxas is literally that way. He just lost in this world he never had a chance to really know. That's sad asf

Sounds like you may not of played KH2, it's easier to explain and for you to understand things if you watch my KH2 story video or play it. When learning the story for the games it's best to go by the release order and not timeline order.

The Legend Of Zach, Get Kingdom hearts 1.5+2.5 game. It has 6 KH games u can play. I say play the games in this order. 1. Kingdom Hearts 1/1.5 2. Kingdom Hearts Chain of memories 3. Kingdom Hearts 2/2.5 4. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days You can play 358/2 Days before KH2 to understand Roxas. It’s Optional. 5.Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep 6: Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded You need to understand what’s going on in each game to understand the story. After Playing all 6 games get Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Play in this order 1. Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance

A nobody is literally someone who should not have existed. A hollow form of one's self and yet a part of them. This only happens when a person's heart has been released from their body. [Sora has to release his heart in one so he can free Kairi's and return it into her body] thus creating Roxas in the process. That's how Roxas is connected. He is Sora, but not at the same time. He is Sora's nobody. Infact everyone in the organization's name begins or has an X in their name to differ from their original self. I.E. roXas. Rearrange, spells out Sora, minus the X. aXel, rearranged spells Lea, minus the X.

Literally play the games or watch a quick recap. It's a lot of information, but when you connect the pieces your mind basically shits itself. Also there are many more complex elements at work other than these little sub plots to the story.
