Thank God for GAFCON, in giving clergy and laity a voice in clarifying basic scriptural teachings and countering the destructive confusion and division caused by leaders who refuse to reject anti-biblical teaching and practice. I wrote a letter to the priest at our Anglican Church in East London, SA, about four years ago. I was distraught at the way the Anglican church had veered totally off course. It is niw my h wise and u have nit found a church yo go to. Teachings and the turning against Israel by the Bishops in South Africa was the last straw. the Arch Bishop Tutu's statement about gay priests not being accepted and would not go to Heaven ..... his words were apparently.,"Then I don't want to go to that Heaven" was just another nail in the coffin for me. I do not attend church now but would do so if I could find a church that genuinely preached the WHOLE GOSPEL and not anything added or taken away from it. we truly are in end times

I had high hopes for the Anglican Church when Welby was appointed Arch Bishop of Canterbury. Hearing of his anti Biblical stance on marriage and other gender issues, I have come to the sad conclusion that he has fallen short of his calling and office. I wouldn’t like to be in his shoes when facing God on his stance of anti biblical issues.

He needs to stand down from his position, he is not fit to serve. Scripturely he has disqualified himself and he needs to repent right away.

I want to be a part of a church that tells me if my actions or lifestyle are sinful and not one that encourages me to embrace sin.

I am so glad to be a non-denominational devout radical Christian. I can be as radical in my worship unto God as much as I desire. I am free from all this bondage of being tied to unbiblical compromising leaders, who have no regard for the foundational tenets of the holy and precious scriptures. What an insult to the spilt blood of Christ on the cross. I am shocked to hear that Justin Welby is so compromised. He vacillates between two opinions. Not uplifting for the sheep. By the way, do these leaders ever think about their sheep or are they more concerned about politics? God have mercy.

My thought is that if Justin Welby has to choose between losing a large part of the Anglican Communion (most of which is a long way away & doesn't affect the Abp's status in England) and losiing a small part of the CofE (but keeping the Abp's status + the approval of English society) , on balance he will keep as much as he can of the CofE even if it means losing most Anglicans overseas.

I am so pleased to hear this. I have left the Anglican Church because of Archbishop Welby’s statements and now attend an Evangelical Alliance church.

UK Anglicanism does not recognise the primacy of scripture. GAFCON does. In the UK we are taught that 'Reason' and 'Tradition' are equally authoritative in determining what is and is not legitimate in the Church. It is asserted that it is the interpreter of scripture that determines what the scripture is saying, the scripture itself has no agency. For this reason we all interpret scripture differently and therefore diversity must be embraced and celebrated. Unity in the church is to be replaced by tolerance of the other. The consequence is that there is no such thing as objective truth. Any claim in this regarded is considered naive or primitive. This is a radical departure from historic Christianity which is why Liberals are so keen to embrace the 'new' moves of the Spirit, rather than the deadening letter of the law. Make no mistake, Liberals have hijacked the Anglican Church and are working tirelessly to legitimise homosexuality within it. At this moment the General Synod is loaded with homosexual lobbyists who are planning to assert gay rights at the February Synod meeting and with Welby at the helm, who can doubt that they will succeed?

What it does mark (much to the char-grin of our own schismatic groups - the RadTrads, is a move by the pope and should be promulgated is that an opening of our hearts to those that have same sex attraction. They don’t deserve our hatred, and should be engaged with. Perhaps Pope Francis’s approach is that we can still hold a doctrinal line, but open out hearts to those who sin. It’s a manifestation of our Vatican II’s commitment to missional imperative. From Pope John Paul II through to Francis, there seems to be an increasing importance of engaging with and saving souls. I as a Catholic am following and praying for your current painful journeys.

Due to Welby's continual refusal to accept the Truth of Holy Writ, and his continual support for what is clearly Described in the *New Testament* (Meaning it is an *Active* Command) as *Sin* and *Vile* and *Ungodly* and *Profane* (Edited, turns out I got the Old Testament and the New Testament Mixed up, for which I am truly Sorry) and an act that will *Prevent* a Person from inheriting the Kingdom of Heaven (Saint Paul the Apostle, in 1st Corinthians Chapter 6, is *very* Clear on that!) , is why I, as a Reformed Evangelical Anglican, am now looking for a Presbyterian Church instead, so long as I can find one that has also not gone down the Path of Apostasy and accepted the Doctrines of Demons promoted by the world which is and are completely opposed to God and His truth through Christ. I can only hope and pray that God sends some true Workers into the Harvest to Guide and Protect the Church of England and bring it to Repentance and back into the Light of Christ through Holy Writ (King James Authorized) to once again be Shepherds, feeding the Sheep of Christ. We have to tell those who are Homosexual, that what they do is Abomination, and will result in them being thrown into the lake of Fire unless they Repent!, then we can lead them to the Light of Christ, to His Cross at Calvery, where the Perfect begotten Son, the Lamb of God, died for what they Did, in the same way He died for what we did, So, they can be washed Clean, and Eternally Saved! by Grace alone, through Faith alone, in Christ alone, where they will Receive the Holy Ghost, who *Will* Turn them *Away* from their Sin and make them Celibate as part of their Sanctification to God's Glory. If we do not do that, if we just say "its fine", then we Fail them *Utterly* ! , and show nothing but hatred for them! because we doom them to hear the most terrifying words in all Scripture "I never knew you", Which is Horrible! and will Result in loss (as Hay and Stubble that will be burned up) at the Bema Seat of Christ on the Day of Judgement. This is not going to seem at all Loving, in fact it is harsh, but I am something of a "Fire Breathing" type, for better or worse, and it is Probably a fault.... but Welby, if he does not repent, will reveal himself through His Fruit (Ye shall know them by their fruits) to be a False Convert and *Worse* than an Unbeliever, no more Christian than Mohatmut (if I may quote George Whitefield), and given I refuse to accept him or Charles as authorities due to their Rotten Fruit, I, sadly, may well have to leave the Anglican Church of My Youth to find an actual, True, Church, that abides by the Truth of God and Holy Writ. It’s time for the Anglican Communion to break away from the ‘church and state’ relationship and appoint their own spiritual leaders according to the teaching of Scripture

Justin Welby, by condoning same sex marriage and appointing one practising such to high position within the Anglican Church - making himself a heretic and the Anglican Church apostate. What an indictment. Why would Welby condone such? The Bible, the inspired, inerrant, authoritative Word of God, is clear. As clear as Romans 1:20-28. Ephesians 5:32 tells of the deep spiritual aspect behind marriage as God decreed - to be between man and woman (procreation) and a picture of Christ Jesus the Bridegroom and His church, the bride - to the world. All is Written. And God will not be mocked.

One may disagree with the orthodoxy of the CofE but that is not really the issue. The issue that if one wishes to speak on behalf of a particular church, then one cannot openly contradict the teachings of that church. (It's not 'disingenius' (1:24), old chap, it's 'disingEnUous', with a clear /e/ sound before the /n/ sound and a clear /u/ sound after the /n/ sound.)

The Anglicans have been following 'tradition' instead of God's Word for many decades. Anglicans would have been aware of this every time the bishopry refer to tradition whenever the world confront them on the media. The bishopry are appointed by men and NOT God. The 'head' of the CofE is King Charles who is not even a Christian. It is time for repentance from all the Anglican hierarchy and return fully to the Government of the Holy Ghost.
