Archer is an FXX original animated, half-hour comedy. The new season revolves around the international spy turned hardboiled private eye Sterling Archer and his quest to find his partner’s killer in 1947 Los Angeles.
The case proves to be more difficult than expected after Archer quickly gets mixed up in a deadly game of tug of war between Los Angeles' most powerful crime bosses. Every clue leads Archer further away from his goal and deeper into a mystery involving kidnapping, prostitution and drug addiction.
The series features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin as the incredibly vain private investigator, “Sterling Archer;” Jessica Walter as the veteran crime boss and nightclub owner, “Mother;” Aisha Tyler as the sexy lounge singer and Archer's crush, “Lana Kane;” Judy Greer as the clueless heiress to a vast publishing fortune, “Charlotte Vandertunt;” Chris Parnell as a crooked detective hell-bent on seeing Archer dead or in jail, “Detective Lieutenant Figgis;” Amber Nash as Figgis' partner and occasional muscle, “Detective Sergeant Poovey;” Adam Reed as the saucy band leader, “Ray Gillette;” and Lucky Yates as the club's bartender/heroin dealer/Nazi scientist, “Krieger.”

One of my favorite things, aside from how good the actors are, is how many come from the Arrested Development show. And how Jessica Walters and Judy Greer seem to play the same character in both shows. It's magnificent!

All my love for the people that make Archer. I love you guys. You made one of the most enjoyed television programs I've ever watched. Top ten for sure... probably top three. I can't think of enough things at once to determine anything with any accuracy. I'll just say this... I've had a tough run of things in some areas of my life. This show made a huge difference to me. Love how there are too many jokes amd i have to pause and play again to not miss it. The voices overlapping and everyone getting equal importance in every scene. The script, the characters, the dark humour and insult that everyone seems to fling at everyone keeps me coming back for more. Love ARCHER!

When the show first came out, no one I talked to had heard of it! I was concerned that it would be cancelled so I told EVERYONE how great it was; including strangers next to me in queue. FYI: the ringtones from the show get great reactions from strangers too! Please keep them coming! [Phrasing!!] Loyal from S1 E1 - LITERALLY!! [Because we are doing that again; altho, I never stopped. ^_^ ]

I didn't actually realize it was Chris Parnell voicing Cyril until after I had already associated Chris with Jerry Smith (from Rick and Morty) - even though I saw Archer first - so I keep hearing Jerry now every time I go back to watching Archer lol
