Dr. Thatcher was my favorite one-off character. Too bad she didn't come back. She and Archie had good chemistry.

Archie probably ate so much of it in WW2, He was tired of it. My Dad was in Korean War and said they had a lot of that as well as Spam. When I was in We had it too but they changed the name!

It's not so bad these days. Depending on the hospital, of course. I spent 3 days in the hospital for a dog bite. What I realized was that the meals got progressively more tasty as the day went on. Breakfast was meh, lunch was pretty decent and the dinner was very good. Nothing to write home about, but certainly not horrible.
