These tiny houses are unlike any you’ve seen before. From the amazing polycarbonate walls which fill the interior with filtered light, to the genius windows design providing inbuilt seasonal shading, some seriously clever idea’s have been poured into these homes.
Wayne is an architect, who had an amazing time allowing his creativity to run wild on designing two dream houses for his family to call home. Here, Wayne was able to test out some seriously out-of-the-box ideas and the results will leave you speechless!
This week, we visit not just one but two tiny houses which have been brilliantly designed to work together as a family home. One tiny house is shared by Anthea and Wayne, while the other houses their two daughters, Darienne and Remony, giving plenty of space and privacy for each member of the family.

These two tiny houses are filled with some next-level design! I had an amazing time visiting these homes and seeing all the wonderful design ideas which make them work so well. For me, what sets you apart from the rest is that you are skillfully spontaneous. Though you follow a certain flow of the interview with your structured questions to get the important details for your subscribers/viewers benefit yet you're keen on acknowledging the details of each home, able to express thoughts into words spontaneously especially the way you wrap things up at the end of each video. Just genuine, honest thoughts expressed spontaneously, not read or rehearsed. And that's one key to having an edge on the craft that you do.

Me too! My throat got a bit tight at that part. My husband and I have made some similar decisions in the last few years. I’m grateful we had the privilege to get that perspective and the ability to make some changes, we’re all much closer as a family (2 teenagers as well) and feel more authentic in ourselves. It has changed some of our ‘friendship’ groups in a very good way too.

So many unique features in these homes!! The father definitely is not afraid of trying something new. I've seen people use the white plumping pipe for fences and screens but never a window!! Loved your ending.

Family tiny homes are always my favourite videos, because we have been carrying the idea of going tiny with our small family for such a long time. I love to see how this family has built a beautiful home for themselves, that meet the needs of teenagers and young adults. It gives me hope, that we will one day be able to achieve our goal too! Wow. This has ideas that totally blew my mind. I love how he brought in the natural light and the pressed tiles on the outside and the ceiling. Things that I would never thought could be done in a tiny house using the pipe cut to shade the sun just brilliant! These tiny homes definitely hit the top of my favorites! Just WOW!

The design of these tiny homes is unbelievable and the decor is so inviting. Absolutely my favorite so far (and I've seen a lot of tiny homes!). My husband and I have four adult children, and I would love to have set up like this with a third tiny home. They have special needs and the boys will need to stay with us. I love the idea of them having their own privacy and independence with the security and comfort of being so close. They are such a wonderful and talented family!

This was absolutely phenomenal!😍❤️ The design of each was fantastic and the use of materials outstanding! The wall of light was absolutely fantastic, then the windows with the filtered light 😍 The pressed metal which is rarely seen in the UK, that looks absolutely gorgeous! The whole design cosy, friendly, loving and wonderful colours throughout 🌈 Truly beautiful homes for a really beautiful family. Bryces summary at the end made me tear up, absolutely wonderful ❤️

Very interesting design ideas in these fascinating homes. The best feature effect was definitely the polycarbonate wall - just WOW. The light this brought to the entire home was amazing giving the experience of always aligning to the daylight - as though you're actually outside. Truely epic. Love to find out more about these amazing walls & the insulating qualities. This wall concept really does make small Tinys so much more appealing to live in.

The word "unique" means 'one of a kind,' so it isn't possible for both houses to "so" unique (no such thing as 'so' unique....unique describes itself without superlatives). Now, if you'd said the CONCEPT of the houses was unique, you'd have hit it square on the head....

I just ❤ how Bryce sums up the tiny house movement at the start and end of every video. This one was the best and almost had me in tears. This family is the perfect example of what Bryce speaks about: loving people living together, creating their dream life experience while taking care of our planet. The creativity expressed in these houses just touches the soul. The pressed metal, denim wall, and overall eclectic style inspires me for the tiny house I want for myself. Absolutely gorgeous! These homes are just brilliant! So many creative design elements and wonderful uses of materials - the polycarbonate, the denim, the seaweed (I'm assuming that's what those lampshades were!), the PVC pipe rounds. Human ingenuity is boundless! I do wish you had shown inside the entryway where the fridge appeared to be, and that very cool rooftop patio! Very excited to have seen these amazing houses, and how this family is living together.

Without question, for me, the most unique homes to date. The richness of the materials and the eclectic design and features was really beautiful. The architectural design was really impressive, but so was their taste for design. Pretty interesting couple and family.

Definitely the architect touch! I like how he combined the different materials, the industrial feel with warm and romantic details that make the house very cozy. The shower is interesting and essential, the copper taps are beautiful. All of the exposed pipes remind me of my loft in Tribeca, NYC where they were all horizontal near the floor and some even vertical. Same mix between industrial and lots of wood. Their surrounding property is immense, I don't know how far they are from a town but for me it would be a bit isolated. Definitely a good choice of living, we should all learn and have the courage to make it, it's good for our health and soul.

Potential idea for the future: A type of tiny home I recently discovered that is unique is narrowboating. I've been following a number of channels for the past two weeks of people who live full-time on narrowboats and travel the canals in the UK. You've done at least one video on a house boat. This is very different. I don't know how viable this topic is for you, but, if even just for your own entertaining and education, consider checking it out (if you're not already familiar with it). Even if not interested in the lifestyle, the scenery is often breathtaking.

I love both the houses have their own kitchen - completely functional for a separate use fully and of course two lofts gives additional privacy in their own world. Edit : The girls’ tiny house seems more spacious and I really appreciate both having double sized beds. Ma sha Allah MashAllah for the calf, dog and hens.

In love with every aspect of these 2 tiny homes and the family within them. I agree with others I wanted to see more and definitely wouldn't have minded a longer video ❤️. I love all the tours you and Rasa make. Each so unique and beautiful & you two capture it all wonderfully. My 1st and favorite tiny channel! I've been following for a few years now and will continue until I'm able to be in one myself! Just waiting on the last kiddo to be done with high school 😊

Like many, I spend far too much time scouting tiny home videos and this one has been time well spent. There are architects… and there are architect designers and this is clearly a creation of the latter; an artful collaboration that takes form and function to a higher level. The thing that I suspect many find so enchanting about these homes is they possess a sort of contemporary, avant garde, gypsy-like feel that is conveyed by an eclectic collection of shapes, spaces, materials, textures and colors they have chosen and brilliantly assembled into a cohesive habitable and cozy home. Wow...utility has its own beauty, love getting value and practical function at same time... elegant design with basic commercial materials...he understands concept of maintenance, "self managing", "passive benefit" design... REALLY well! i.e. built in shade windows, creating a thermal layer, 'greenhouse" walls on the south side, open copper plumbing, metal countertops, old style metal wallpaper material...(Covid proof) wow! brilliant, original... would love more feedback on effectiveness /efficiency of each design implementation, that double pane window alone, or those part wall/part windows creating a greenhouse effect... balancing cost, weight, to spend extra on copper plumbing, ss countertops, solar, etc... great presentation Bryce
