Architects + Artisans & Wonders expansions = chef's kiss. More avenues for strategy and tactical play. For me, it raises Architects to the level of Paladins and Viscounts. Thickens it up.

I've enjoyed Architects a lot recently, and so have the people I've taught it too. It works well at 3-5, with 4 probably best. I doubt I'll ever play it with 2. It works well at 1 player as well. I've tried it playing two characters against each other. I've enjoyed the base game solo mode, I've ordered WoW, even though I am not usually an expandsionista, because I hear that it has a great automa, providing a better solo experience.

Did you not get the Age of Artisans expansion? It's definitely worth having and adds in some changes. We love the West Kingdom series, and Architects is my favorite. I got it all, both expansions, collector's box, metal coins, and play mat, and play the Tomesaga with the other two. Fan of Garphill Games, and love the way they run their KS campaigns. No nonsense.

Thanks for covering this. I just received it last week and was instantly hooked. And yes, please cover the solo mode! I am very interested to see how it plays since I understand it to be a much deeper AI opponent, and even several levels to chose from. Just not sure how easy it is to run

My favorite game and now it has everything I want with works of wonder.But they also ruined the game for me with the addition of the influence track.due to my color kindness the two tracks and icons on the cards are identical to me.Why did they have to Pick colors soo close.they could of at least changed the shape of the icon.I guess ill have to have my wife mark all the cards or sleeves so I can tell the differences.it was the same thing with the criminal cards in pleadings I can tell the blue and purple meeples apart but not on the cards
