For a complete lesson on arcs and chords, go to www.MathHelp.com - 1000+ online math lessons featuring a personal math teacher inside every lesson! In this lesson, students learn the following theorems related to arcs and chords. In the same circle or congruent circles, if two arcs are congruent, then their chords are congruent. If a diameter is perpendicular to a chord, then it bisects the chord and its arc. In the same circle or congruent circles, if two chords are the same distance from the center of a circle, then the chords are congruent. Students are then asked to solve problems related to these theorems using Algebra.

52 = 26 * 2 52 = 13 *2 * 2 Since we have a pair of 2mwe can take it out, but since 13 is left without a pair it must stay within the root. So now we have 2v/13

sooo, dumb question , dont you also solve 2root 13?....... 7.211? why didnt she just solve the square root of 52 and call it x=7.211?
@alixandracelline1470
@alixandracelline1470 7 жыл бұрын
TheDefeatest TheDefeatest well if you didn't have a calculator with you, you can use still 2 √ 13 instead which will give you the same answer as 7.211. try it! √ 52 = 7.211 OR 4 • 13 results to 52, right? so, √ 4 • 13 2 √ 13 = 7.211
