I think Edward has forgotten to collect demands from himself twice, he should be down one fuel and one psyonic!

2:10:22 Jon uses a 2 Faith card to declare Keeper, but Pluralistic Faith was scrapped and Faithful cards can no longer declare any ambition they want. 2:26:15 Why can't Edward tax the relic? Page 20 under Prelude Actions: "Resources spent in Prelude return to the supply at the END of your Prelude..." (not the end of your turn).

I'm at 2 hours into this one. I've also watched Act I, of course. I have this game preordered and looking forward to it. I'm really not sure what to think of this. I cannot tell if this game is competitive or cooperative. Of course, I understand that on paper it's competitive, but this sure does not feel like it. I have a feeling that comes down to the play style of the 4 here. I'm wondering if we should be seeing the players actively try to block each other's plays more. Act I ended with all players fulfilling their goals. It also feels like the game is just a practice of engaging with the mechanics. There are a ton of interesting rules and gameplay mechanics. I'm not sure if they are there just for the sake of people to go through the motions. Nothing feels consequential, it just feels like the players have learned how to progress the game and the whole experience is just a practice of forwarding the game.

Stopping a player from completing their goals doesn't necessarily help you win though. Sure, players who don't complete their goals will lose some points, but starting with a B role in Act II isn't necessarily worse than taking your A role into it.
