I don’t think that remaking most of the crash games would be that interesting, but having some iconic levels from the post-naughty dog games would be so cool. Especially the GBA stages.

I would love to see The Gauntlet, Wizards and Lizards, the Cocoa Stages, and all the Atlas Sphere Levels.

It's not the tons of vehicles. It's the lack of originality and the overall broken development, it's a game born old already at its release time. There is no sense of innovation and frenzy, unlike in the first 3 games. The engine is outdated, nothing looks fresh compared to the original games (which is a sad paradox, since the game was released on a later machine, PS2). Many sessions are boring (like hanging on ceilings, or the atlasphere which many times is not fluent, or the dune buggy races, with nonsensical controls). No new collectibles and mechanics, just a boring reiteration on everything that was there in Crash 3. Not really the best way to go on with the series. The classic Crash structure oversaturates under these conditions. This is the reflection of the mere desire from Universal to milk the cow and make money by giving to poor developers Travelers Tales less than 1 year to make a new game from scratch, canceling the prototypes of a 3D open world Crash. This is true insanity. This game is reasonably regarded as the beginning of the strong decline of the series.

@@MazaJesi91 Eh, for what the game was like, I actually enjoyed it overall. The levels in the game were unique at least. And we also got Crunch.

@@leethoven I see what you mean. However still I think many levels were a blind and unoriginal reiteration of the stuff seen in Crash 2-3. The jungle, the ice world, labs...the hanging on the ceiling is a worst experience compared to the previous ones, Crash goes sooooo slow...to me unfortunately it looked like there was no true idea on how to develop something really interesting. Some stuff is ok, Crunch for sure is one of the good things, but it is not enough in my opinion to save the game's poor quality.

Warped has 16 pure vehicle levels and 17 if you count Dino--Mite! which has a small Baby T section but for the most part the vehicles work well (not as well in N. Sane but still) WOC has has 12 pure vehicle levels but adding in levels that are hybrid... the total goes up to 21 levels with vehicles... That means you only get 9/30 levels with pure platforming in WOC versus 13 pure platforming levels in Warped and thats a huge difference when the vehicles aren't polished save for maybe 2

Nag Crash bandicoot 4 is about time, will be better than a wrath of cortex remake, the saga needs to move on.

IMO it's trying to be too much like warped. It succeeded in some parts but failed in others.
