I've done two of these installs, one worked great, the other I'm experiencing the exact same thing you were seeing, kill switch and tether not stopping engine. I still have everything apart in my garage so now I look forward to fixing my connector. Thanks for the video. Awesome.

wish i saw this before i did mine. We took the connector apart because the wire wouldn't push out. we also moved the tether out of where the instructions say and towards to where it was easier to get to with gloves on, so the same plastic part just inline with the gas cap if that makes sense.

Next time I do one I'm going to do the same and put it somewhere else. Like you said it's hard to get at with gloves on. With this sled it's not to bad it's my wife's so she dont really use it as much as I use mine.

I had that same issue too, but no I can’t get the machine to turn over at all, took out the tether setup completely and still I can’t get anything....

You might have to get a test light and start checking all your connections.

How did you get those blue and purple pins out? They won’t move.

Use the proper size screw driver i think it was a 1mm and push it through. The lock on them locks the wires on pretty tight

It's pretty straight forward and with this video and the instructions you should be alright.

No I dont this was last fall. But if you take you connector apart you might have some corrosion or broken wire. If neither one of those things take the white cap of the plug and check the wires. You might need to bend the little tab up a bit.

I did figure this out after but didn't post. The contact tab on the inside of the (female) connector was pushed down and wasn't making contact with (male) pin.
