I have a 8V A3 2.0T, stock, and am thinking about getting an 8V S3 and doing just stage 1 ECU/TCU. I've noticed that the EA888 IS20 stage 1 from 034 seems to have lower advertised power figures than other tuners (APR, IE, Uni) but the EA888 IS38 stage 1 from 034 seems to have higher power figures than those other tuners. Could you shed some more light on that possibly as far as why that may be? Thanks in advance!

Ive been running the 034 stage 1 ECU/TCU tune on my 8v S3 for a while now, and IMHO it's perfect. I will be going stage 2 very soon and I was wondering If there will be any additional tunes on the horizon for the EA888 gen 3. IS38 such as stage 3, E85, high torque/low torque options? I think a lot of people would be more tempted to go with 034 for the MQB if so. thanks in advance.

These are things that are definitely on our list! We don't have an ETA at this time, but it's something that is in development.

@volkssturm9694 could you tell me a little more about your experience with 034 stage 1 on your 8V S3? I was pretty dead set on trying IE but I really like the company philosophy etc of 034 too. I have had APR on past cars with no issues but want to try something different, not looking for anything crazy just looking to get an 8V S3 and do stage 1 ECU/TCU. I want to make sure it's not only smooth and reliable power but want to make sure the TCU software optimizes the shifting in both drive and sport, not just one of them. Also, would be great to have auto stop/start default to off when you start the car, as far as I can tell from researching only APR advertises that their tune can do that from what I've seen. Thanks in advance for your thoughts, or anyone else who wants to share!

For the VW 2.5 na motor will the 034 stage 1 give those crackles and pops like IE tune?

@@034MotorsportUncut appreciate the response! Still think im going with 034 tune. Wanted the crackle but... 034 proves its worth and my local shop recommends it highly!!!
