Very important video as it is always good to check those features and be aware of where they are located. I can only imagine one scenario, disabling if the vehicle is in a small collision and the sensors are not operating properly. Thanks for another Kia Class!!! Great way to keep on top of the knowing the functionality of our Kia vehicles.

I have a '21 Seltos EX and my dome light does not come on when I open the door. The lights work when I manually turn them on but I only noticed this recently because it is now dark when I head out in the morning. I have only had my car since May. I use all of the safely features that you showed in this video and I love my Seltos! Thanks for the videos!

As always great job showing people in a faster way the vehicle features.👌👍 One thing to mention is those settings cannot be changed unless the vehicle is parked.😉😃

Awesome vid. Have put my name down for notification if a PHEV Kia Sportage comes to NZ. Perhaps it will come late year or early 2022. Kia Seranto is quite long. If PHEV Seranto came in a 5 seater that is ok for me. Your videos and live chat are great Auckland. NZ

Hi, thanks for your videos! Is there a way to save settings? I have a Seltos SX, and for example, if I turn off the Vehicle Auto-Shut Off, when I turn on the SUV again, it's on the 30 min mark again. Also happens with changing Parking Safety and other settings.

Hello. I watched many of your interesting videos. My question is I have Kia Niro 2018 touring version hybrid and just couple days ago I started to see a dashboard screen warning to check the regenerating brake system. The light of this warning is on as well. Both warnings go off after driving few kilometers but come back then. Can you help?

Anytime there's a warning light on, you'll need to check it out at your dealer. They'll be able to connect their computers and run a diagnostic to help you out. I would book an appointment with your local dealer.

Hey Mr. Peter, just curious the rear cross traffic alert (on. Parking safety) on this Kia Seltos EX, is it the same with rear cross traffic alert of kia Sorento 2021? Thank you.

I believe so. It depends on the trim of each vehicle. Some will be rear cross traffic alert with avoidance (meaning it's capable of stopping the vehicle) and others will just be an alert. But essentially the same, yes.

I'm not sure... I don't think I've seen that in my car. Could it be listing a parkinglot? I don't know.

That is the "Lane Follow Assist" button. It can help keep the car centred in the lane, even if it doesn't see some lane markings. It's actually one of my favourite features on our newest vehicles.

My backup beeping is not going off when I get close to an object… it looks like the beep is on… I have a 2022 Kia K5

Hmm... You may want to get it checked at your dealer. They should have a tool that can check if each sensor is working. Also, just make sure that there is no snow and ice on the sensor as that can cause some issues.

I am sure I can get through this by playing with the settings but you quickly show which is the menu and the okay button but really don't show how to keep switching to the next option. Not sure I'm explaining this correctly either, but you should have a camera on your hand going back and forth showing exactly what you click or select and what effect it has on the dashboard to show what the active selections are.

I'll probably do a quick video on how to adjust things. Basically, on the right side of the steering wheel, the button that looks like it has two pieces of paper on it is used to go side to side in the menus in the dash (feel free to press it while looking at your dash to see what I mean) and then the button below that has an up and down selection, and on most cars, pressing that IN will select the highlighted option. On other cars, if you can't press that up/down button in, there will be a separate ok button.

Haha! The only way to fail is if you ask me multiple times how to do something that I literally just explained in the same video that you're commenting on, and it's obvious that you never watched the video. :) 99.99% of people have no issues! :)

Which ones? Some I probably can. Some of the collision avoidance features, I won't. There are situations where they won't activate, and they'll leave the driver in control, and... to be honest.... they won't risk running me over just for a video. I've offered though!! :)

It depends on what you want to do, but most of our customers prefer that, and I always keep my headlights in the Auto position. If you have auto high beams, that feature will only work if your headlights are in the Auto Position.
