Running tires together will create sidewall heat, & they will blow, but it looks cool & does seem to make more traction, love the video
@Not_Built-Right
@Not_Built-Right 2 ай бұрын
Exactly , hence why dually semi wheels have days to helpwith traction , control heat best if you have 2 in gap put some pate in between the lug shafts that is going to absorb alot more of the stresses and abuse you put on them @hunter_goodrich .......p.s. please keep up the mayhem you rock .

@@davidwoermansr “work for the rest of his life”? Hunter’s in his 20’s and was getting great exposure. For Dave, Hunter was a crucial asset as a fabricator, welder, truck driver and frequent recovery team member. That’s not easy to replace. Hunter should have marketed his channel more while he was with Sparks. If Hunter wants to make this channel successful he’s going to need weekly video uploads. That’s much easier to accomplish with a film crew and dedicated editor.

Hunter I grew up in the red clay mud it’s like driving on ice, wheel speed is needed to clean the clay and mud out of the treads or your just running slicks. The duals sure increased the off road ability of the 6x6 and the ground pressure, good idea for off roading but somebody’s going to have cut you a wider road in those mountains.

Just so you know whatever vehicle is hooked higher will always win the tug of war. That is because the chain will lift the back end of the opposing vehicle up off the ground causing it to lose at least 50% of its grip. On a proper tug of war the rope would be as low as possible to the ground with each vehicle having some sort of drop-down mechanism to make this possible
@BrianHurry
@BrianHurry 2 ай бұрын
It's counterintuitive but with the exception of drag strip tires most tires will have a friction coefficient of less than one which means doubling the number of tires will give you less grip. This is why you can walk down a hill with your small shoes but you can slide if you're on a wide toboggan. And if you lose grip on your shoes all you have to do is tilt the edges to get more grip because the less surface area equals more grip

If the tires are spaced apart 3-4 inches the mud will come out the center and not become a land roller , all so weld metal between pipes and some across to make them ridged . And if chains are added you will get better grip .
