EV batteries include Lithium Ions and results in mining of Lithium which is highly dangerous for Environment and Indian Car Market still have a bad EV infra in tier 2,3 cities. Diesel Cars can also have strong hybrid architecture and Toyota and Mazda are even working on it.

Not possible to have ev's in mountains. How are people going to charge their vehicles. We barely get parking in shimla and govt is thinking that they will develop charging stations in many places. It simply means that they are going to cut trees in the name of development which is pathetic.

There is no way they can smoothly implement the use of EVS because even to build charging stations and evs they need fuel and heavy machinery which works on fuel . Other than that how would they provide so much of electricity to infrastructure, vehicles and machinery . The govt isn't able to provide electricity properly to places like zankar and paddum but they want evs on road, this is just stupidity. Even I am in the mindset that I won't buy an ev because the way we all have bought these cars or will buy and to maintain them , we have a lot of effort and love. While I agree with the need for infrastructure, I still love EVs just because of performance and efficiency reasons. An EV is around 85% efficient in terms of fuel than ICE engine which is only 25-30%. Also the sudden acceleration and torque delivery in EV is just so damn good, very difficult to get it in ICE cars. A 25 lacks EV is capable of going toe to toe with petrol cars in 80-90 lacks range.

Will India be in a stage to fulfil the demand accordingly to the supply ? If petrol and Diesel cars gets banned in India what will be the future ? And EVs are good in intial pickups but after 120-140kmph they don’t push much. A person was racing with me I was in Slavia and he was in MG Astor EV and he lost I guess 10 times so he gave up and for long runs EVs need time to charge and petrol/diesel fuel ups in minutes for 500-600km range.

@@Slaviaguy No, India should not outright ban petrol and diesel cars all together, people have different needs hence different requirements. But living in cities and being miserable due to sheer amount of pollution, I think it is a step in right direction. Maybe the person you're racing with is not much experienced, but I've seen MG ZS EV(Astor EV doesn't exists) smoking Virtus, Kushaq or cars in 1 segment above with no difficulty in my locality. Even the formula 1 drivers are ripping in EV hypercars(see Nico Rosberg). I have to remind you that the fastest production car in the world(in terms of acceleration) currently is an EV, The Rimac Nevera, made by the same people who are making bugattis.

Ev k liye amenties boht chahiye Himachal mein ev cars k sath boht dikkat ayegi kyunki pumps nhi hai aur vans bhi nhi hai jiss se charging ki jaa ske sabh se bda concern yahi hai jo log lenge unn ko toh sabh se pehle yahi dikkat ayegi ki charge kahan krenge kuch toh baad mein bolenge kya musibat le li 1 ghnta toh iss ko charge hone mein lagta itne mein toh solan pahunch jaana thaa 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

And koi bhi vintage cars ke baare mai nahi sochra hai , ye ev ko promote aur petrol diesel ban ke peeche pade hai but hum apni car ko vintage age tak kaise pahuchayenge agar ye 15 saal mai ban kardenge. Mai delhi NCR mai hu and delhi city mai purani gaadi ghar ke bahar khadi ho toh utha lete hai without permission iss baat ka koi tuk ni banta , aise toh fir ye history erase kardenge ki "ji hum toh page palatenge nahi seedha faad denge".
