Foreign idols often times have a big international fanbase, but their companies often don't treat them well.

I notice how a lot of kpop fans misuse the mistreatment. Most of the time, the proper word is mismanagement. An example of mistreatment would be the girl group Stellar.

Some fans think that by following their bias/groups,buying some albums and lightsticks,those sick minds want their idols follow their instructions but they forget that they are their followers not their idols it's fan own choice 🥶🥵🥶🥵

We cannot ignore the fact that Lisa and Tzuyu were mistreated before they became famous. Especially Tzuyu flag incident which was blown out of proportion and jyp mishandling all for her. And Lisa getting racist and threatening letters from people and grp chat made wherein they say such shit abt her and what all will they do I mean sadist at best. and YG literally not doing anything to protect till it was pushed by fans. In case of blackpink I feel all are mistreated as they are never protected by YG. And I as a fan of blackpink can never forget the first 2 yrs they were mistreated like anything. After du du du du immense success and world wide popularity, they started giving them attention or they would have been another 2NE1 in YG who were mistreated and never given credits for their talent rather bashed by saying they were ugly.

I don't agree that the mistreatment issues in Lisa's case are baseless. When Lisa debuted, she got paid less compared to the Korean members of Blackpink and was the least promoted member especially in South Korea. There were also a lot times when she got the least appealing and weirdest outfits when they attended music shows (thankfully, she was able to pull them off because of her good body proportions). Now Lisa is famous internationally but it does not mean that she no longer gets mistreated. With regard to promotions and advertisements she's now getting left and right, let me clarify one thing. YG did not get them for Lisa. Lisa earned them all. Those international ambassadorship she got are because brands want her and not because YG gave them to her. Even the magazine covers are all sponsored by the brands and not because YG got them for her. In fact, I think YG is strict when it comes to Lisa accepting magazine covers. Remember in 2019 Bazaar Thailand cover. the magazine had to wait for 5-6 months just for the company to allow Lisa to grace the cover. Think of it this way, if they want to promote Lisa why would they not allow her to do the cover if it's gonna promote her? So do not say all the contracts Lisa are handed over to her because she is favored by the company, that is simply not true. In fact, the improvement on the company's treatment on Lisa just happened now because she's earning money for them and because she can no longer be ignored as she is one if not the most famous female K-Pop idol internationally. The popularity she has now is because she worked hard for it

Anyways, racially motivated mistreatment and biases certainly exist and are prevalent in their society but I can't really speak for the industry since I'm not a part of it. As an onlooker, it certainly seems that way though.

Shuhua told Chinese fans to stop. She also told them not to think she was bad with the members. She still doesn't feel sure. Her main desire was to be an actor, but she also said hyuna inspired him to become an Idol. Shuhua doesn't mind at all. Soyeon said she'd give shuhua the most important parts on purpose. And what doesn't match her voice, why would Soyeon give it to her? It's as simple as that. Please stop this.

Well its kind of a special case with Shuhua and cube doesn't get a say in what she gets to sing. Cube has given all production rights to the members so they all have a say in what they get to sing. Shuhua isnt confident in her singing so she asks Soyeon to give her lesser lines. Shuhua is much more confident in her dancing so she likes to display that more than she does her singing. But when she gets more confident, I can guarantee you that we will hear Shuhua hitting high notes and getting tons of lines.

If they start hating on a foreign idol, then the company might turn its back on them. But not all foreign idols are treated that way.

I am not agreeing with you on tzuyu case. I believe she is being mistreated. She gets the least screen timing even though she is the visual and does not have any individual activity plus she has to suffer during twice dance's she always has to bend her knees in order to match the other members height's and she is the lead dancer of the group but never gets to be in the spotlight. As we know twice mainly focus on there dance and they have many dance break but tzuyu never gets to have one or be in spotlight she is always in the back or at the edge. She doea not get to be in the centre even during photoshoot because of her height And nowadays she is getting very less lines and still after 5years in industry she is not a brand ambassador of any brand which i believe is all jyp fault. We all know that tzuyu is the most popular Twice member imagine if jyp could promote her well. Ik that tzuyu has not the best voice in twice but i believe she has a very sweet and soothing voice so. If you see them with other SVT members, they never seem to shy away or get intimidated. Jun, in fact, is known to be a jokester and very playful, and the members adore him for that. Minghao, well, there's a reason he's called Thughao. He's basically known to be the most savage in the group. And both also get to do solo promotions in their home country China and even released their solo songs in Korea just recently. 😁

I think the mistreatment is real and its crap. Why should they discriminate against people who are helping to push the hallu wave? But in certain instances i think it comes down to minor misunderstandings. I know we had the haters against the j line in twice but with once we absolutely love them as well as tzuyu. And with shuhua I dont know if its intentional or not but you have to put into perspective that yuqi and minnie got more distribution than miyeon at one point. I just think whoever sets this up (soyeon) has to do better with getting all the members their shine.
