As a former opiate addict who's been on suboxne for years to combat cravings so i don't relapse. That breaker is either on opiates or suboxne and is overly tired. I constantly nod off like that when I'm sitting down. Manly when I'm tired or stoned also.

Niks Naks Cards is generally an amazing breaker and seems to be a genuine guy. I have broken with him for years and he has always been respectable. Hope everything with him is okay!

One time I took 30 days off … Doctors orders! Another time it was 60 days off … court orders. The nod is real.

I will throw this one out, If there were no box case breaks then no shops would be around cause most will not fork over 40k on 20 cases of 1 product and then have it sit on the shelf until collector walks in to buy or purchase through website. This is also why we see now for the past 8 years brand new product and box goes over $100.00 cause producers of cards and shops are in control as the average collector back in the day could have gone to a distributor and buy box or case with tax at a very discounted price, that though can no longer happen, reason example Upper Deck has put rules that Distributors can only sell to Brick and Mortar shops and in order to get say 5 or more case that shop has to be Authorized by Upper Deck otherwise they cant order 5 or more cases. Not only that but a shop not authorized by Upper Deck CAN NOT advertise Upper Deck boxes on its store web site, so the hobby is now under strict control and so will Fanatics do the same thing its just a matter of time. The other i have noticed that in some private group with breaks some are always getting the best teams as soon as they are posted and then the rest teams which would be worth less to buy are left for the suckers. What i mean by this is instead of buying a case and opening it it gets sold in team breaks but insiders with friends take the good teams at cheap prices then the rest of the teams cover more or less the case cost and the insiders end up with potentially the good team hits instead again buy the full case.

Group breakers charged so much premium on sports card breaks, it’s insane. People going in debt and overpaying and sometimes NOT EVEN GETTING ANYTHING. Group breaks are absolutely terrible and a waste of money And that nik-naks guy is a druggy can’t even spell correctly

I'll just say this about Nik Naks. I haven't seen this name in 5 years, not since I bought into 2018 Prizm PYT box breaks on eBay. I hit a Green Ice Auto Lamar Jackson #/10 in one of his breaks. He was one of the few honest breakers at the time who would even let buyers pay after he did the break if they couldn't in time, and if they hit big he didn't pull any BS. Sad to see he's dealing with a serious issue here. So long as he makes good on any cards he's damaging, it's fine w/me and not worth calling out really. I hope he gets the help he needs, whether that is more sleep, meds, or anything else.

Breakers are trash for the hobby, but the companies will never ban them. These guys buy cases and cases of product, where as without them most people would be buy small amounts at a time. Also there's no way they would sell all of the four figure boxes without breakers. Breakers keep prices and product movement up, which is why they will never go away.

Hobby prices have priced out alot of collectors. Plus the chase cards aren't even worth more then the boxes. I appreciate breakers giving me an opportunity to hit big cards at a fraction of the cost

Not sure if it technically ruin the hobby? I mean some of these hobby boxes are so overly priced that the only way to get in and get stuff is through a group break. The breakers themselves have gotten greedy over the years but there are still some honest breakers out there that are doing it the right way. Unfortunately the other ones are ruining it for everybody else.

Group breakers are the reason hobby prices are ridiculous right now. Nothing would be better than to have them all go away

Nick from Niks Naks is one of the oldest breakers out there that breaks late at night. I remember him breaking until 5-6am EST lol. I used to buy into his breaks alot when I returned back to the hobby in 2017. He's dozed a few times before but that's all due to his late night break schedule. He went MIA during mid of the the pandemic and just got back into breaking early this year. Overall, he's a cool dude to hang out and talk about cards on the stream.

Are breaks good? Well I enjoy buying 1/30 of a singular box! And I can’t get too mad at a guy falling asleep. I never know if someone has something going on, like a heavy schedule, or a medical problem… Some people need the money. If I don’t know everything, I won’t make any info. Also sad about Dylan Crews won’t be in Bowman 2024, so it will be “baseballs best 100 with 1 blank!”

There are tons of groups out there that have been around for nearly a decade and you wont find a single bad report or review about. Customers just buy into the most convenient thing and just like with any product, the easiest to come by is not always the best. Instead of spending a bit of time to research groups and real veteran breakers, customers buy from the flashy loud mouths who have dozens of bad reviews yet have only been around for 6 months. If people would just check out the youtube channels or facebook groups it only takes 3 minutes. 3 minutes to ensure your purchase should not be to much to ask but no one does it at all. 10 years and nearly 20,000 breaks with not one person accusing us of a scam but I am being outsold by kids who have 20 scam reviews and been on for 6 months. We went from the largest breaker of memorabilia to breaking a few boxes a night because it seems customers do not care about a better product or even honesty and prefer to buy from guys wearing half shirts and screaming constantly even if they never get their product.

Yes they are bad for the hobby, they are the reason why products are expensive plus they buy up all the product so the average person can’t buy anything. They’re in it for the business aspect and not for the collector.

Nil Nak breaks does that all the time. I was thinking he had some mental issues going on. I felt sorry for him so I didn’t bust his balls. He’s a good guy. Even adds bonus cards in yours package if your break sucks. Plus he’s really fucking slow. Usually runs 45-50 late on your break
