ഇപ്പോൾ 28 വയസ്സ്. വിവാഹം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല. പാചകം ഒഴികെ വീട്ടിലെ മറ്റെല്ലാ ജോലിയും ചെയ്യാറുണ്ട്. ഇതുവരെ 3 കുട്ടികളെ അവരുടെ 4 വയസ്സു വരെ നോക്കാനും പറ്റിയിട്ടുണ്ട് ( its more than baby sitting ). കുട്ടികളെ കുറിച്ചും പാരന്റിങ് നെക്കുറിച്ചും ഒരുപാട് കാര്യങ്ങൾ മനസിലാക്കാൻ പറ്റി അനുഭവങ്ങളിലൂടെ. ഇപ്പോഴും പുതിയ പുതിയ കാര്യങ്ങൾ പഠിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിക്കുന്നു.

Although a lot of points are valid, i think this is also quite over simplified. Some men just choose not to contribute at home. There's no arguing, discussing or cajoling or begging that can get them to do it. One cant simply say stop mothering tour husband and he'll grow up. What of he doesnt think growing up includes learning to contribute at home? What if he thinks financial contributions from his end is all thats required and anything more is expecting a little too much from him? Contribution to household chores is not just about supporting your partner, its about working as a team, growing and learning together, growing closer with every cup of tea you make for your partner. Hiring househelp is a solution but that doesnt give you the knowledge or confidence thatjust knowing that you and your partner alone can take on a world of responsibility, any outside help or not.
