Both genders are very similar in the range of average intelligence. But men have a greater aptitude for high degrees of intelligence. You say that geniuses exist in both genders. Technically true, but the overwhelming majority of geniuses are, and have always been, men. The farther we go above average intelligence on the scale, the more men we find and the less women we find. And if this were simply acknowledged as the scientific phenomenon that it is with impartiality, instead of being used by a lot of men to inflate egos and justify mistreatment of women, society as a whole would be able to admit it. But it is used opportunistically to inflate egos and justify mistreatment of women, and so we pretend as a society that both genders have an equal potential for high intelligence. Being good at school means nothing in terms of future success. Sure it feels good at the time, but simply having good grades or doing well academically doesn't necessarily mean you understand the subject. The practical part has to come in as well, and this is the part where most women don't work as hard as men, especially in so called male dominated industries, where women just want to prove a point but fail because it's not the true spirit of what's needed for the job

yup, in my pre-calc honors class my teacher gives out candy to the highest scoring people on every test. It's always girls and I'd say our class has the same amount of boys and girls.

Men in the past were driven to explore more and build things, and quest knowledge, it was their natural instincts. What's the point in being mad at men they have no control over women being born women and their natural duties and abilities to rear children. A few men probably did take advantage of this setup, but on the whole there was no sexism involved because people just assumed that it would work best like that. Should we have left everything to women because I doubt much progress would have been made if we did? Good luck with the studies anyway

The role men played back then was to go and explore, that is where you are correct, but they also had the primary role of manpower, and hunting, while women would manage cooking, communication matters between people, and medicine, since women percieve color nuances better, have better memorization than men, and are more empathetic. :)

Money management? I think that's more down to the individual there's plenty of materialistic women. In regards to memory, I think men can have fantastic memories for facts and other things that interest them. We just have brains which can compartmentalize and reject irrelevant information whilst only bringing up things when needed. Women however tend to try to connect everything and see the bigger picture, though that bigger picture can sometimes be wrong.

I try to have as much empathy as possible because it doesn't just allow me to generally understand peoples feelings but also allow me to know what someone might be thinking which can be very useful, I use empathy to benefit myself because knowing what people are thinking and how there brain works can benefit me as a lot. On the contrary, I try to show as little emotion as possible so people can't know what I'm thinking

If you’re using empathy selfishly then it’s not really empathy.

You have to acknowledge the environment she was raised in. It's enough for a kid to hear/see once that they're supposed to act a certain way, and that will shape them in a highly profound way. I can't tell you how many times I've seen parents respond differently to equally emotional responses in little boys and little girls, where the boys were discouraged from displaying that behaviour while the girls were given attention. It's very possible that she too was influenced by something similar and now she feels it's "how she should act" because "she's a girl".

This is the same problem I have had with all women in my life, from my mother, to my present girlfriend to my ex-girlfriend. I try to encourage them to engage logically and rationally when in a heated debate, but they usually just shut down and get upset.
