Bro, I switched from makita to Milwaukee a couple years ago. Never looked back. As a tradesman, everything else doesn’t compare. And yes the weed wacker, chainsaw and edgers are epic. Dewalt cordless tools are trash but they make good saws. I really enjoyed this content and the dynamic between the two of ya. I’m a finish carpenter and would love to hear about your background with being a craftsman. I’ve always considered tinkering with lure making but just pour soft plastics and don’t get that motivated to use power tools once I’m off for the day.

It’s just awesome that y’all have each others back and it’s genuine. Love each other always and be each others biggest fan.

I actually just bought my 1st pair of snap ring pliers at hobby lobby! It was exciting to me, because my thumb nail hurts from replacing rusty snap rings on some of my older rattle traps, and crank baits. I had been using a guitar pic and my thumb nail. I didn't want to just order them on Amazon so I went to Home depot, Lowes, 3 different tackle shops, and nobody had them, then I found them at Hobby lobby. Not sure why I mentioned this in your comments, but I wanted to comment to help with your KZfaq algorithm and you guys were talking about things that made you happy and tools, so yeah it felt like a huge accomplishment after going to like 7 stores, and then finding them. I live in the middle of nowhere so I had to drive like 30 miles to get to where there is stores...cool not live podcast, I enjoyed watching it...jimi

Great pod! Love your guys dynamic. As far as topic suggestions go, I'd rather listen to you guys discuss things that really interest you rather than fielding a bunch of recycled internet questions. Like for Nate I could listen to him talk all day about the various kinds of baits and where to use them, why certain colors work better and when, etc.. You can just hear the passion in his voice when he talks about that stuff and its engaging. Would love to hear what Chelsea is passionate about! The fact she ties flys and got a Cricut heat press for Christmas must mean she's pretty crafty! Lets hear more about that! Wish you guys nothing but success!

Not a H-ONE DAAY! T'was great!! Metal detectors to weight transfer lures, goin' by your time together and anything in between is entertaining and very listenable! The story of the kid was interestingly "common" to my mind..! There was always those few in school that were unlucky or everything seemed to happen to em, positively or not. Oh and the ep 2 could be mixed with another part of the lures list, since your wife really enjoys what you are making! Good stuff all around! 🤘🎣

I taught myself to pan for gold a couple years ago. Its pretty fun. I bought some paydirt with gold in it and then taught my kids. Metal detecting is super fun too though.

Dewalt 60V is my main choice. Weed wacker is a beast and the 60V leaf blower is like a hand held jet engine. Definitely upgrade to the 40V but if there is a 60V option it is worth the extra clams.

45 seconds in and I can already see this is going to be a wild ride. Okay, here we go.

Hugely entertaining twist on the normal (highly entertaining) content. And FWIW while I totally respect the super intricate baits, I enjoy the creative twists on practical baits the best.

I struggle with listening to podcasts and I made it like 85% through this without losing my attention, which is about 50% more than any other podcast. The reminiscing of days of old was super cute and fun to listen to. As far as topics, why start with white and what would you start with if you couldn't start with white? What if white doesn't exist? Tattoos, why or why not? Chelsie's favorite brand tool or equivalent to Makita, and what she would choose if the brand doesn't exist? What does Chelsie do that's "soft plastic bird mold" level of mind blowing/genius? How'd the raised bed garden go this year, and favorite plant/food plant that you grew? I'll do my best to come up with more.

I really enjoyed this. Side note, Tigerfish have been seen jumping out of the water to snatch birds out of the air here in Southern Africa. Some fly fishing types have even tied swallow sized flies for them.
