Did you know that you can have an o from stimulation of your nipples? Well I mean if you can, of course you knew that - but if you haven’t that might mean you can…but that also may mean you likely can’t… So to demystify this I’ll be explaining the parts of the breast as they may relate to pleasure, I’ll make some suggestions for stimulation techniques, I’ll answer the question: if most of us have the same body part why does it function in such drastically different ways?, and then myself and my husband will model how you can have this conversation with your partners. Which same goes for hair since hair follicles contain nerve endings that increase sensitivity to touch.
the nipple contains a high concentration of nerve endings, which are innervated by the fourth intercostal nerve. Which is just a fancy way of explaining why nipple stimulation can feel so good for some - regardless of gender - since the neurological pathways activated during breast stimulation are connected to the genital sensory cortex (within the cerebral cortex), which explains why this stimulation can be sexually arousing. The nipple also has something else unique in common with the genitals, because of its smooth muscle fibers it too can get an erection when stimulated

Hormonal influences: Hormonal changes, such as those during pregnancy or menstruation, can affect nipple sensitivity. In both directions
Past experiences: Positive or negative associations with nipple stimulation can impact how it's perceived. THIS IS ESPECIALLY TRUE FOR GENDER IDENTITY AND A PERSON’S PERCEPTION OF THEIR BODY
Some people may have more sensitive skin or a lower threshold for sensory input - which is why people who don’t have sensitive nipples often benefit from piercings. YES! A piercing can stimulate nerve endings and it may even lead to increased nerve growth or reorganization. Add into that more circulation, the possibilities with temperature play, and the light stimulation of the object becoming more intense when the area around it is erect
Psychological factors: Mental state, stress levels, and personal preferences can all influence how stimulation is perceived.
