Guess what!?! Natural loofah’s are antibacterial if you make sure you dry them out, they make your skin soft from exfoliating. They can not only be used on your body but they are great for cleaning your dishes and bathrooms. Also they are cheap and you can grow them at home. If you have that and a natural sea sponge and a wash cloth it will step your hygiene game up and your skin will thank for the spa like experience.

Exactly, why spend $2 on a plastic loofah? Spend that $2 on a pack of loofah seeds and have a year's worth of loofah in 5-7months. Best part? The seeds from the loofahs you grow makes this a life long solution.

I'm not sure how everyone cleans so, I grew up being taught to clean my wash clothes and body luffas with baking soda and white vinegar then rinsing with hot water than let it soak in cold water, 3 caps of 90% proof alcohol with a cap full of peroxide in a clear glass Masson jar for 2 hr. After that, squeeze and let air dry with the restroom vent running. This is parenting 101 to teach your child how to not walk around smelling of mold nor your restroom and keeping up with clean hygien. If you can take time to do other stuff than it's not hard, I taught my 11 yr old to do it and nope, we have no skin issues. But hey, it's not for everyone. Plus we change out GOSHI washcloths out ever 3 months...3 a year, not bad.

As a parent I need to teach mine how to proper care for themselves cause an infection can cause other things as well, plus showing care in how you care for yourself speacks volumes. We can hide from germs but we can stop them the best we can. Hence why myself nor child have gotten COVID-19 nor flu in the past couple of years. Little changes help along the way.

Also, I figure that Aussie is hot and dry, so your skin outer layer should be thicker. Because I think IIRC, wolverine actor is Aussie and got Skin cancer or use a lot of sunscreen (?) So I think you might prefer something with more exfoliation. Loofah VS silicon scrub, Loofah has more exfoliation. You can say that the silicon one, is like rubbing a hard jelly across the body and not very exfoliating. I would recommend that you go online and find those Korean bathing glove made of Bamboo. Some of them even have 2 holes, for the thumbs of both right hander and left hander. Or you can wear it on both hands at once. TECHNICALLY, this is nothing new, because Shower Exfoliating Gloves has been around for some time. These are the ones with the 5 fingers. While the Korean one has no fingers, and just 2 holes to stick out your bare thumb. It really comes down to a difference of texture and what you prefer. Personally, I think the western Shower Exfoliating Gloves are more suitable for washing dishes and cutlery. But personally I have never used them. But for some reason, I remember them being rough, so I might have seen it outside before.

An end word being that, with all these products, you never know which is the best. But you can always repurpose them. Some scrubbers can be used to hand wash clothes or dishes if you don't like them. You can even wash your pets with them.

Also, it is popular to be recommended long handle body scrubber with brush bristles. But like Clarisonic face brush, some dermatologist on KZfaq say those can breed bacteria, and the silicon face vibrator do not breed bacteria. So silicon is still the best material for using in toilet. Another thing being that I read some reviews on Taobao, and people complain about brush bristles falling out. or the handles of the scrubber being too slippery because they are plastic.
@AKIRA-we4hd11 ай бұрын
If you don't want to trouble and buy online, you can just use a normal small towel for face or something. It has to be cotton and NOT microfiber. when you scrub on your body, it makes bubbles and also exfoliates. I saw someone using a towel to scrub her body in a KZfaq short, and there were bubbles. But not sure how much body wash she use, because I have never tried that myself. Cotton towels can be used once and dried. Technically because it has been cleaned with your body soap when you bath, you don't need to wash it again to reuse it. Only need to dry it. But I would recommend throwing it into the washing machine with the rest of your towels for maximum clean. Maybe once a week, or whenever you do laundry.

You wanna know what's way better than a loofah and this? It's a African net sponge. It's basically a loofah but it's the shape of a towel. You can wash it and they're pretty cheap. My mom has had hers for five years. They cheap, clean (because you can put them in the washing machine), and they can reach your back unlike loofahs and the sudscrubber.

The reason they have bacteria is because natural loofah need to be rinsed well. I would even say washed with fresh soap that wasn't mixed with dead skin cells. Then rinse. Poofs carry bacteria where it is bunched together with string. Cut the string. Let the poof loose and just keep it bunched up in your hand while in use. When done, rinse. Wash with fresh soap. Rinse again.

@@madoniux yeah, you just buy 20 of them and use every time when you take a shower/bath a new one. Used ones you put in de washing machine and they're ready to use again. In The Netherlands (Western Europe in general) it's a really common thing. You can do yeaaarsss with them.
@AKIRA-we4hd11 ай бұрын
@@madoniux Listen to me. I am not the original poster, and I have not tried the hack she shared before, but I have seen other KZfaqr do it. I can explain it by my own brain. What I think is that, if you bath with soap, you do not need to wash your washcloth. Because TECHNICALLY, you actually washing your washcloth with soap, everytime you bath (with soap). Unless you use the washcloth and water, but do not use soap. Then, you need to keep washing the washcloth. I assume that you bath with soap. Like this, you only need to throw the washcloth into the laundry, every time you wash your clothes. But my word of advice, is to just squeeze out the water from the washcloth. And then, to kill the bacteria, hang it dry on your window. Because UV light from sunlight kills bacteria. Also, even on rainy days, there is UV light, just lesser VISIBLE light. *(because light has a spectrum of visible and UV). Hope this helps :)

Technically, you are not wrong. If you using gel or anti bacterial cleanser, your body is still clean when you use lofa, because of the soap. But if you use goat milk cleanser, your body can be smelly and sticky with loofa. The texture basically coats your body and the loofa and make bacteria grow. SIDENOTE: bacteria on loofah vs face brush like Clarisonic cannot be compared. Because there is Acne bacteria that feed on oil, and oil glands are more on the face than the body. That is why loofah okay :)
