I personally believe revolvers are quickly becoming obsolete for the majority of gun owners and future gun owners. My first handgun was a taurus 357 magnum, and I loved it. I think revolvers are more than enough for self-defense and even law enforcement for most situations. The reason I think they are quickly becoming obsolete is the low capacity and, more importantly, the price.

Are they obsolete? Yes. Does it matter? No. Self winding automatic watches are obsolete, but they're still amazing pieces of engineering added to the fact that wood and steel have sex appeal.

Beware the older guy who has a revolver. He likely has had many years of practice and knows exactly how to shoot it very well.

Revolvers will always be rad. Every self-proclaimed “gun guy” needs at least one revolver and 1911 in their collection.

I’m in my 30s, I love revolvers man. Very few semi autos get my attention nowadays. There is something satisfying about the mechanic actions of revolvers.

My local FFL just keeps expanding their revolver section , so I must not be the only one buying them.

One thing few seem to mention is that, in terms of printing, the revolver's curved handle is more organic and less likely to be noticed under a shirt than the straight edge of a semi.

Early 1970's, my duty gun was a Chiefs Special. Still have it. Back in the day I qualified with that 1 3/4 barrel.

Thank you! This is how you do a "is it obsolete?" video. As someone who went away from semi auto for my CCW into a Revolver instead, I'm a huge advocate TOWARDS Revolvers for CCW and home defense.
