I don’t think any one of us chose to be divided, the whole issue of shia/sunnah is heavily influenced by politics originating from way back to the Prophets death. Furthermore, Shia shouldn’t be classified as this “different” sector, we believe in the same 5 main pillars of Islam just like you. If I were to boil it down for you to understand, Shia take most of their teachings from the family of the prophet while sunni people take most of their teachings from the sahaba (both have slightly different narations of the prohpets teachings) hence the so called “divide”. BUT that does not mean sunni’s dislike the family of Muhammad or that we dislike the Sahaba. Gosh if people stopped running would this harmful narrative, the world would be a better place.

I agree, I am a Mumin and I believe that Shia Muslims are going against the practice and teachings of Islam.

When somebody does shirk and call entities other than Allah for help which is against islam most important belief. when Allah says Quran is preserved and shia says no,which means they are saying Allah is lying astaghfirullah. When Allah says prophet’s wives are mothers of the faithful people and there is dedicated Ayahs for them praising them all and the shia are cursing them with the worst words ever. When Allah praised the sahaba and said that he is pleased with them and he promised them jannah,and shia are cursing them and trying their best to degrade them. When islam says no for lying and then shia says lying/taqiyyah is good. Doing everything against islam and what Allah says this definitely makes somebody a non-muslim

I agree, Islam shouldn't be divided into sects but should be practiced the same way the prophet (pbuh) practiced it. Nothing new should be added to it because it was already perfected at the time of the Prophet. Our azaan should also be the same one as the one from the time of the Prophet, maatam (beating one's self) should not be done because it is not something the Prophet did or something that the Quran tells you to do

Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم foretold of these groups would come about. Do you know the hadith. When says (not the full hadith) there will be 73 sects of Muslims all in the Hell-Fire EXCEPT 1... they are those who follow the 3 best generations of Muslims. Do you know that he called the Khawaarij the dogs of hell...!!! So it's not possible to say we should be one Ummah with the understanding of the hadith I spoke about.. why would he say there will be 73 sects of Muslims..

Is there any hadith that says what you're saying because if it clearly was shirk Prophet ﷺ would have warned us against it strictly but we don't see that ?? Sahaba did sought help from many ?? Khwarij takfired Iman Ali AS by taking one ayah according to their literal interpretation and modern days khwarij do the same by taking own literal interpretation of ayah avoiding all the traditional sources. Al Fatiha also starts with "All praises" is to Allah, now do you also say that praising someone else other than Allah is shirk?? Come back to authentic Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jammah InshaAllah

Also there's literally a hadith which says that the shirk which prophet ﷺ feared for this Ummah was minor shirk (WHICH DOESN'T TAKE MUSLIM OUT OF FOLD OF ISLAM) and that's the showing off of one's worship and same hadith says that Prophet ﷺ Ummah won't worship stones, idols, sun etc ( just explained hadith context not the exact wording). So don't slander and accuse innocent muslims of shirk!

After Sunnis killed Imam Hussain they threw all the blame on others claiming others didn't support Imam Hussain hence they had to kill Prophet Muhammad's Grandson as they had no choices. Muslims the Followers of Prophet Muhammad , Ali ,Fatima and Hasan and Hussain have nothing to do with followers of Ayesha and Muawiya who fought against Ahulbait in Jang E Jamal ( Battle of Camel ) and Jang e Suffin ( Battle of Siffin ). Sunnis hate any forms of respect given to Martyrs of Karbala and instead celebrate the death of the Grandson of Prophet Muhammad. If you haven't heard anything about Ayesha and Muawiya and Ubaidullaha's war against Prophet Muhammad's successor Hazrat Ali and Ahlulbait in Jang E Jamal ( Battle of Camel ) and Jang E Siffin ( Battle of Siffin ) it's probably because you're a Sunni and you're a follower of Abu Bakr ,Umar, Usman, Ayesha and Muawiya or under the influence of Sunni Propaganda, there are many Historians and Even PHD Researchers on Islam who are unaware about these conflicts especially between Abu Bakr's daughter Ayesha and Muslims. There's a deliberate attempt to manipulate facts and history especially about the Battle of Camel and Siffin and most new converts to Islam fall for it unfortunately. They never ask Questions about 40 thousand people being killed in these wars. Sunnis Groups such as ISIS and Al Qaeda and Others attack Shias for these very same reasons and dehumanise them under various excuses. Which forms the basis of Sunni Nasibi- Muslim Shia Split and Separation. Sunnis will claim Shia Rawafid Hate Wife of Prophet Mohammad and his Sahaba ( Companions), while completely ignoring the actual fact about Wars which took place where thousands perished and massacres were carried out Ali's daughter and Granddaughters was Paraded after Ali's sons were massacred by Usman's Nephew Yazeed in Karbala. It's just pure Manipulation and Hypocrisy. And Sunnis have been repeating the same old propaganda against Shias for centuries, Sunnis blame Mutah on Shias while Having Nikah Misyar and Urfi and Halala themselves which is even worse. Thousands have been killed due to these conflicts. I guarantee that anyone who reads about the Battle of Camel and Siffin and Karbala with honesty can no longer stay a Sunni. It's just overwhelmingly contradictory to Sunni Narrative about Islam, and Truth and Facts.. . .. .. ..tyyyuiiirt
