Love these investigation videos. Not only does it provide the reefer with important information on equipment/supplements we use, but also sends a message to companies that they need to be clear about their product claims and quality to price ratio. Having this come from an influential company like BRS has the weight behind it to make companies listen, thxs for looking out for us little guys/girls!

Based on that package size, cost and output, then there is another step which is to say what is the cost per dKH point: Two Little Fishies: $0.1003/dKH Brightwell: $0.0876/dKH ARM: $0.0784/dKH So you get best value from ARM over the life of a container of media, even though it has the lowest output concentration.

I was hoping you would show Calcium concentration as well, since alkalinity is only part of the information. I guess I'll have to wait for the ICP test episode.

Very excited to hear about the trace element test results. I suspect Reborn + ReMag would be the clear winner. Its what I've used for awhile now based on no knowledge of what's in it other than its a old coral, how could it not be your best bet?

Yes I’m one who would like to change from 2 part to a calcium reactor, but I would love to know if those trace elements are in the effluent?? That could be a game changer!!

Please research the point at which each substrate will turn to mush. That's my biggest fear with the CA reactor.

Why would that be a fear? Your tank would have to be loaded to the max with sps to need to run a pH that low. When I run ARM around 6.5 it would not turn to mush but there was a little sediment in the bottom when I would refill.

@@TheTrevor40 I have mine at just under 6.4 now. I believe the mush point is below 6.1 but really more curious than anything.

@@BRStvDid you guys ever do the ICP testing, I was just watching your recent trace element mistakes video where you referenced the ICP tests for the calcium reactor media. But can't seem to find your results. Did you ever dive into the Magnesium testing as well? I've always ran Mag media with my calcium reactor trying to help keep up the mag, but your in-depth insights would be invaluable.
