I would like to state that MATH, 1,2,3,4,........ is not racism. Or the whites holding the black man down. Math is an ARAMAIC NUMBER SYSTEM that the whites assimilated from the Moors that were from North Africa. The retaking of Spain by the Christians from the Muslims brought this about. 1,2,3,4,.......math is used by just about every country on the planet. If math is racist in the USA than it is RACIST in just about every country on the PLANET.

For me it’s quite simple. Is intelligence genetically influenced? Of course, you are smarter than a bird due to genetics. Without genetics you don’t have intelligence at all. And, if something is genetic, there will be variation.

Environmental expectations and social consensus are formative influences. Different cultures and that to which they assign a sense of value produce different outcomes.

Under Nazi rule, the Dutch starved, many died. This carried on for the next generations, epigenics. Now the Dutch are the tallest people in Western society. I'm going to offer up my theory is that is because, at least in part, of quality national (SOCIALIZED!) health care.

There is only ONE race the human race. The human race is composed of different ethnicities some darker than others with different cultures, languages and histories. GOD made man and woman in his image and his likeness. Some ethnicities and cultures emphasize education and hard work while others do not. There are no ethnicities more intelligent than others. Every human being has a brain with the same grey matter. A brain is a muscle that needs to be worked out, and some people are lazy and some are not studious. A person cannot blame anyone, but themselves for their own failures. America has equal opportunity, but America cannot promise equal results. There are no equal results, and only people who work hard are successfully and people who don’t are not. I am collecting three retirements not because I am white because I worked hard. I collect a military pension with 100% benefits, an Ironworkers pension and Social Security.

I think race is largely a social construct. Anecdotally, I see people of my "race" who are receiving government subsidies having way more children than those of us fortunate enough to start our adult lives in college dept. Unintended consequences or policies intentionally conceived in an attempt to keep downward pressure on wages after the American apartheid state was abolished? 🤷🏿‍♂️

Life is Eternal, all Living Beings, is Eternal Life-Unit's, all Life-Unit's is the Same Eternal Race. So it is 'the Idea' of 'Races', that is the Base of 'Racism', and Intolerance, is the Prober Word, for most of whats called racism. So, the use of 'Racism', is Not very intelligent. Rainbow is the Signature of the Life-Unit's, it is a developing-Circuit, the Beings passing through, and take color, in temporary Eternities. We are Orange, about to be Yellow, in next Zone, Green, is the Intelligence-Zone, here the Beings is Intelligence-Beings. Just a little glimpse of Intelligence in Eternal Perspective.

Asians seem to have a higher average, and sub-Sahara seem to be less but these are average stats. Sowell is a genius do not take anything for granted. You will be fooled.

There's a better chance that a person with a physics degree will do that computation as opposed to someone with an economics degree. There's more people with physics degrees working in finance than in the field of physics

@@halbleavy9900 The same reason why the Kenyans Ethiopians dominate the distance running category, the Inuits are more able to survive colder conditions and are shorter, or why I can digest lactose and some cannot; simple random generic mutations that ended up being preferentially selected for survival due to the benefits they gave outweighed any detrimemts they incurred. If you can't look at the fact that intelligence is inherited and make the obvious and forgone conclusion, you might just be cut out to be a social scientist.

@@bort6414 Why do Kenyans and Ethiopians dominate long distance running? Could it be because they train at 8000 feet above sea level? No one has found the link between genetics and high intelligence. They throw millions of dollars at the effort and come up short. They can find diseases, precursors for diseases, likelihood of developing said diseases, but zero on super human intelligence. Some of these diseases negatively impact mental development and scientists can't find sh!t for high intelligence at the other end of the scale.

I think Intelligence is overrated, when discussing how it decides who will be successful in life. Ask parents of multiple children, and you will hear that the most successful children were not necessarily the ‘gifted’ children with high IQ’s… but the children who just worked the hardest. I think that is a very underrated variable , and should be rated higher than the variable of IQ. ❤
