The team is way much better, Ed. Come on! Brian Burns, Malik Nabers, a new offensive line coach. A new defensive coordinator and special teams coach. I think our new safety is going to be great.

I’ve only watched the beginning few minutes but it’s not about positions being better…it’s about WHICH positions. Smart teams pay players at (obviously QB is at the top by a wide margin) then in no particular order LT, CB, Pass Rusher, WR…when you look at it through this lense it is like building a foundation. Now that these young building blocks are in place they can go all in on Quarterback. If they land an elite QB with these players then all of a sudden…watch out! I think with the mess he’s been left and the short time he’s had that Schoen has done a good job. If Evan Neal is what he’s supposed to be right now this isn’t even a conversation really imo. They also were thrown in with an ancient draft room and a building way behind the times a short time before their first draft. I think to fully judge these guys after this season no matter what happens would be a mistake personally. This was always a 5-6 year rebuild with the way things were left.

Drew Lock could be the long term answer at QB, imo

We’ll see in the fall. But as of now the 2 best players remain Gettleman legacies. If Bricillo can work miracles with Evan Neal then it was Bobby Johnson’s fault. If not, Schoen must be held accountable for the bust.

Hard to say . So much depends on Jones .
