I think you hit the nail on the head when you compare Leia to SK or Aphra. For a developed account, the investment is going to be comparable. The payoff is disproportionately in Leia's favour though, hence why a lot of people probably view it as a gift. Yes the kyro cost is high, but that's the case for every new release. So while she's far from free, she's a lot less aggressively costed than I think we expected based on the recent release of Leviathan in particular. The fact that she has so much overlap with JML and Jabba also makes the cost much easier to stomach.

4 relic 7 marquee toons are never easy, yes older accounts have many req's close but this isnt easy

I think Lobot will be considered a droid and boost 50RT. Anywhere else without a significant change like that would keep him garbage

Requirements seem reasonable, the older toons are ready or close, so 4 relic 7 marquee toons, well that's where cg makes money

Very good requirements. Few toons overlap if you unlocked some gl's and legenderies allready. I got 1 toon left for Levi and give my jabba team some more relics and then full on Leia.

The reqs seem pretty reasonable. Yes, 4 r7 marquees are a steep investment now but once the marquees become accelerated next year the reqs aren’t bad. Of course we have to wait on how leia performs and whether or not she needs additional toons to make her squad.

I see it as a gift, while the 4 marquees is rough they will eventually be accelerated and if leia is like jabba where she gives lasting bonuses like smugglers run 2 being able to do jml as a stop gap for the marquees is amazing.

I think as far as relics go it is easy. But 4 marquees all likely to land on hard nodes is just a very long grind for those choosing to farm. The amount of kyro's on 4 new characters is insane also.

At one 25c refresh on Drogon (same 1x25c refresh on the others but starting later so they all finish around the same time) when he is finally available the earliest I will be able to start ticket farming is sometime in January. I've done the rough calculations and I'm confident I've got enough time to do Rey first and still have time to refarm the gear and signal data.

I think the most trojan horse aspect of this dealio is that if its the precedent they set for raid gls then itll easily boost engagement and numbers and win back faith for their garbo raid speed. So yeah its nice to have a relatively easily achievable gl but i doubt it will be this way for any gls not tied to raids. Or god forbid this is the precursor to a ruiniously expensive gl to come that they know everyone wants.

Leia could be huge trap. Considering Leviathian and some other recent underwelming legendaries, i don't it is worth going for her, until she's out, and we see how good/bad she is

Four r7 marquee seems difficult but remember most of us farmed for SK and Aphra when they were just single drops.

I think a bit of both. If you've already got a decently developed roster you can probably be Leia ready minus the marquees in a couple months(or less)...at which point CG is hoping you'll be frustrated enough to spend cash to get those marquees finished up. So basically if your dropping everything else and going all in Leia right now, definitely a trojan horse. If are cool just ignoring her for a while, slow farming the 4 marquees, and knowing you likely won't get her until Spring time...its a gift.

I've been following your farming guide for my progression for the most part, (so first gl would be Jabba), but am wondering if I should go for her instead. I've already got cls, r2, rex, kneesa, and scout. (the marquees at 3 star, working on getting rex to 7.) I feel like I could easily do either one.

Lobot should have a 3v3 Omi where he gets bonuses if his allies are Lando and Ughnaught. Bespin Gang could become great

Correction worth pointing out, CLS is NOT a relic 7 requirement for JML. He is R3 requirement for JKL who is the R7 requirement for JML.

Kyros required for new characters alone make it a non gift. Id say its on par with anything else newly released. Its the same with a farm like Cal. Because all the reqs only need g12 for the event it gives the impression that its an easy farm but relics are not the major bottleneck in any project involving newer characters its always kyros

Thanks for the vid, I can't agree with your collection of "garbage" characters. I'm Kyber 2 and my Ewoks honestly get as much or more holds than anything else, including Jabba. As for Ackbar, depends on your audience I suppose. Home 1 is possibly the most effective "offensive" fleet for new and and mid game players who don't have a GL Ship like Lev, ProF or Exec. Anyway, thanks again, appreciate the thoughts and viewpoints.

Another great video! Thanks. To me, the garbage characters are these made-up toons like Captain Drogan. Honestly, I’d rather farm 20 Lobot type of toons versus 1 Captain Drogan or any made-up character’s CG can come up with. Long term these made-up toons are bad for the game.

I think lord Vader is still considerably harder to get because of having to get gas. All the kyros needed for padme and c3po push lord Vader way past Leia.

They shouldn’t have to be “hard” It’s a check list Just because the gl is new that doesn’t mean every single requirement for it has to be toons no one uses, or new toons locked behind packs, farms locked behind packs shouldn’t really be what it’s about, even tho that’s a money exploit and we understand that Gls are benchmarks of strength, that’s how slkr and rey were pitched, just bring a faction above a threshold and they are there, they can stand next to a gl. And not be g7 standing next to a r8 gl There should eventually be gls that in time people just have the requirements for on release,because you already have a faction above a threshold Upping the relic lvl closer and closer to the max lvl each time the same toon is needed for a gl (looking at you han) is ridiculous. All that does is create very little margin for variance across the player base with that toon, since all players will have been forced to cap that toon for an unlock
