Are there any teams that can make the first round of the NHL Playoffs interesting?

With six of the eight first round series sitting at a 3 - 1 record, and one them being a sweep there really hasn’t been much back and forth in this years first round. Can any of these teams mount a comeback? and how can a team like the Avs close their series?

I’m loving all the love for Artturi 🥰 He’s my favorite player, bar none. I love the scrappy little guys, the ones who makes the passes to get to the goal scorers, the puck hounds. He’s amazing and all the love he’s gotten the last 24 hours has made me so happy.

Rudo, for what it’s worth I learn more about hockey through your video breakdowns/game reviews than I do from any other source. I appreciate what you bring to the table and I hope you continue to make video review content for us scrubs who don’t know a backcheck from a cross check.

I don’t think the avs are even contemplating playing landy this season unless they’re desperate and he’s 90%. Doubt either of these things happen. We don’t need a 50% landy more than we need him healthy and playing the next 5 seasons if things go optimally.. another injury and he’s retiring

23:10 For Landy, i think the conference finals would be ideal if he is 90-100%. Playing Dallas or Vegas sounds like a grueling series, and I'm not sure if Landy would thrive if that's the first series he comes back for. Edmonton/Vancouver would be an easier ramp up.

The stars vegas series has been pretty fun, as someone who doesnt care about the outcome. Hopefully dallas can take it to 7

If we did the 1v8 format this year, we would just get Edm, and Wpg would get the Kings. Other series would be the same

41:00 fun watching AJ watch eric argue with himself… hahaha. And I’d argue that GG needs to be average… like .900 mid pack… we don’t need good. We need 3 goals against or less. Casey is lookin fantastic. He’d almost surely be living in a van traveling the world climbing and mtn biking if he weren’t making 5 mil a year playing hockey… he’s so chill. And his potencial is at least midway through next season… and he’ll get better for several seasons. The Avs turn good players into top A tier or sometimes S tier players. Val is on the boarder of going to the S tier. Mitts came in B tier and is already A tier. We hope he can match kadris S tier play… I can see it happening this season. And I think Nate and other top forwards are cruising for now. Maybe resting up and keeping the tank full. We all fully expect Nate to turn on the afterburners when it’s needed. I think even mikko shows up with the right situations. Lecky is straight up S tiering it up right now. It’s insane. It’s almost like lecks took over Nate’s rage and it’s fantastic to see. I can’t say anything about Makar… he’s in his own tier potencial wise. I’d say SS (super stratosphere) tier. And we all know he could average 2-3ppg.

My dream is that Landy is ready for day 1 of training camp this summer. I don’t see the point in risking the progress he’s made on the chance he comes back and plays like a guy who hasn’t seen a game since 2022. Let him build his game back when he’s 100% so we have our captain for years to come
